Hi ne17sg, based on the alteration that you decided to make in this changeset, as I was the one who added them in the first place, I took the liberty of removing all multiligual name tags from the nodes representing train stations that you edited in this changeset, I notice that you decided to remove some multiligual name tags entirely from some nodes and not others

Hi map Óptimo, upon reviewing recent changes to the map of Luanda, I could not help but notice that you changed the house number of a building that I established inside 'Cajueiro Condominium', I went to meticulous lengths to ascertain that the house numbers in that neighbourhood were correct, although I am fairly sure that they all are, I could be wrong, it is for that reason that I wanted to ask you to clarify to me about what led to your decision to change it? if it was a question of it being a wrong designation, you changed the number of the house but yet you chose not to alter any of the other ones to conform to the one that you changed, aside from that, I would also like to make it clear, if that is not already the case, that the house number of any building constitutes public information and is not considered confidential | Olá mapa Óptimo, ao rever as recentes alterações ao mapa de Luanda, não pude deixar de reparar que você mudou o número da casa de um edifício que estabeleci dentro do 'Condomínio Cajueiro', esforcei-me meticulosamente para verificar se os números da casa naquele bairro estavam correctos, embora esteja bastante certo de que todos estão, eu poderia estar errado, é por isso que queria pedir-lhe que me esclarecesse sobre o que levou à sua decisão de o alterar? se era uma questão de ser uma designação errada, você mudou o número da casa, mas ainda assim você optou por não alterar qualquer um dos outros para se conformar com o que você alterou, além disso, eu também gostaria de tornar claro, se não for já o caso, que o número da casa de qualquer edifício constitui informação pública e não é considerada confidencial

⚠ you designated the 'addr:street' key as 'Rua do IMETRO (Instituto Superior Politécnico Metropolitano de Angola)', however, the main entrance to this clinic is via 'Avenida 21 de Janeiro' | você designou a chave 'addr:street' como 'Rua do IMETRO (Instituto Superior Politécnico Metropolitano de Angola)', no entanto, a entrada principal para esta clínica é pela 'Avenida 21 de Janeiro'

😬 style(?) although I acknowledge that JOSM is a more powerful tool than the iD editor, I began mapping using latter, I use JOSM for tasks that would be too tedious to do in the iD editor, however, the inconsistancy with the two interfaces is what shys me away learning how to use it

Thank you for clarifying that for me kooky_toky, I look forward to the return of your team to this region, see you around 👋🏼

Hi stevenLAD, so cutting up ways is what might be causeing routing errors, although to be honest, I have done the same thing multiple times for roads that underpass structures, as these portions of the road impose a maximum height limit, I usually cut segments in ways at both ends where an overpassing structure is located so that I can add the 'maxheight-' tag to that specific segement of way rather than designating the entire road with the same tag, if you browse to the following address [ http://overpass-turbo.eu/ ] > click the search field in the upper left-hand corner of the map and type 'Luanda, Angola', it will take you to that region of the map > then click the 'wizard' button located in the bar in the upper left-hand corner of the page > insert the following tag 'maxheight=*' into the field that appears in the window, it should show you all the locations where I have done the same, going back to the edit you made in this changeset, I just removed the 'covered=yes' tags from the ways of 'Estrada de Catete' that pass underneath 'Avenida Comandante Fidel Castro, so that a consistant look is maintain with the rest of road, the tag serves more of an asthetic purpose, it is not intergral

Hi thetornado76, thank you for correcting those parking:lane: tags, I will use the 'parallel' rather than the 'inline' key when I use the aformentioned tag in the future, as an aside, I really wish the iD editor had an expanded graphical user interface so as to make the mapping proccess more intuitive

the mapillary images that pertain to the hyperlink above were not by me, although, I have the intention of contributing my own in July, oh okay, I was hoping you could help clarify something for me, I read that the 'Apple Team' also makes use of mapillary imagery in the teams mapping tasks, I was curious to know what sort of details in the imagery the team is tasked to convey onto the map

very well spotted kooky_toky 👍🏽, I made just a slight alteration concerning the ways in this area, the images made available through Mapillary shows that the way you created in this changeset is actually the point in which two separate road, momentarily, merge into a single road before dividing again [ https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=-8.825266666666666&lng=13.241263888888888&z=17&pKey=-VzQvESeHIHf2O9j_VQSeg&focus=photo ], this road configuration seems like a much safer one to conduct the sort of manoeuvre that the edits in this change infers [ https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=71424637 ]

🤔 although my memory might be misleading me, I believe I recall 2 service roads leading into the basement area underneath the building

Hi stevenLAD, I wanted to let you know that I changed some of the edits you made in this area, I noticed that a 'covered=yes' tag that I had added to the portion of road that comprises 'Estrada de Catete' that passes beneath the portion of the bridge that comprises 'Avenida Comandante Fidel Castro' was extended to portions of the former road that are not underneath the bridge of the latter, I took the liberty of removing the aformentioned tag from those ways, if you think this interferred with the main intention of your edits, please feel free to correct things as you see fit, the following is a visual representation of what I am referring to - [ https://i.imgur.com/zFowEhf.png ] trunk roads take on a pale orange colour with intermittent border when covered

thanks for the fix 👍🏻 [ relation/8259302 ] I was really proud of this until it broke

70973588

Hi jo_yo, you removed the highway=padestrian tag from the area shown in the page below, without substituting it with another descriptive tag, are planning on just leaving it like that(?), was there anything wrong with it in the first place(?) - [ way/378149236#map=19/-8.92263/13.17136&layers=G ]

70878040

although I could be wrong, this edit comes across to me as being rather dubious, seems dangerous for traffic heading south-east from 'Rua Nicolau Gomes Spencer' to intersect 'Rua Dom Manuel I' heading north-west just to reach the same heading in the opposite direction south-east 🤔 I'll keep a tab open for this one, I will get back to it as soon I have scoped-out the location

thank you for the correction 👍

Hi Hendrikklaas, as I was looking through a bunch of screenshots I had taken in the past, I stumbled upon the one that I posted in this changeset [ changeset/68760540#map=17/-9.00103/13.25561 ] I came back to the area that this changeset pertains to so as to verify if the building that intersects the road in the screenshot question was still there, as it was, I took the liberty to go head and just delete the following area representing the intersecting apartment building - [ way/680929831#map=19/-9.00452/13.25901 ] I will not hold it against you, I know all too well that mapping is a never ending task, it can be difficult to do everything you want to
