Hi Jk Martins, welcome to OpenStreetMap, I was reviewing edits to OpenStreetMap made in Luanda, this particular edit stood out to me, the OpenStreetMap wiki regarding naming conventions dissuades users from using abbreviations where possible - [ osm.wiki/Names#Abbreviation_.28don.27t_do_it.29 ] | Olá Jk Martins, bem-vindo ao OpenStreetMap, eu estava a rever as alterações feitas ao OpenStreetMap em Luanda, esta conjunto de alterações em particular destacou-se para mim, o wiki do OpenStreetMap sobre a convenção de nomes dissuade utilizadores de usar abreviaturas sempre que possível - [ https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=pt&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwiki.openstreetmap.org%2Fwiki%2FNames%23Abbreviation_.28don.27t_do_it.29 ]

I added a node representing 'embassy' simply due to there being a Liberian flag flying atop a flag mast at this location, based on my references, it has since been removed, I decided to eliminate the aforementioned node for that reason and because the country in question has no diplomatic missions in Angola (that I could find)

Hi MEDITALENTO, while I was reviewing edits made in Luanda, I could not help but notice this one in particular, does the node that you placed at this location correspond to the residence of someone name Tony? If that is the case, OpenStreetMap dissuades users from adding personally identifiable information about private individuals to the map [ osm.wiki/Limitations_on_mapping_private_information ] | Olá MEDITALENTO, enquanto eu estava revendo as alterações feitas em Luanda, não pude deixar de notar esta em particular, será que o nó que você colocou neste local corresponde à residência de alguém chamado Tony? Hi lukfunk, I was reviewing edits made in the city of Luanda, this one in particular caught my eye, are you sure that the embassy of the United Arab Emirates is located at this location?

after reviewing the sources, I realised how I made this mistake, before I had split the way in half, I applied the 'incline=-8%' tag based on this sign located at the beginning of the way [ https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=NKB1X0QH8TyiUSZTMeyulQ&focus=photo ], however, as another 'steep incline' sign is located further along the same way [ https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=mDHLxj_RyiOy5-Ai_JGEMQ&focus=photo ] I decided to split the aforementioned way and add an 'incline=-11%' tag with complete disregard to the incline tag that I had added to the way before I had split it, I kept the 'incline=-8%' tag for the portion of the highway where it applies but removed it from the other portion of the same highway where the 'incline=11%' applies, thanks for pointing this out to me again, I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise 👍🏼

whopsy doodle, I think, one is in reference to the uphill incline and the other is decline, let me check my sources, thanks for pointing this out

Hi Gullivax, I tend to review changesets made in Angola, your edits sparked my curiosity in particular, may I know where you procured the information used to establishment POI? it does not corroborate with my own

this node was established by a new user mostly likely for the purpose of testing the iD editor, I was led to believe that they had no real intention of making a genuine contribution given the nature of the edit

'5 months ago', you will have to excuse me, I have had a tab openned to this hyperlink for months now, I only just managed to get things together to address it

regarding the 'maxheight' tag, an exerpt from an OpenStreetMap wiki article about it says - "For a bridge, the maxheight tag should be set on the way going under the bridge. Only tag the section of the way where the maxheight road signs apply. If there are none, only the approximate section of the way which is under the bridge should be tagged with maxheight" - [ maxheight=* ]

regarding the covered=yes tags, thank you for pointing that out, I read the wiki article about it and removed all of the tags from the ways where the tag does not apply

Hi DanaeBrookCanyon,

I thought the alignments you made in this changeset was a little crocked, I decided to rectify them - changeset/75590625

osm.wiki/Pt:Tag:landuse%3Dresidential
osm.wiki/Pt:Tag:shop%3Dsupermarket

é sempre ideal designar todos os elementos adicionados ao mapa usando a designação mais apropriada, aplicações como OsmAnd utilizar designação para melhor fornecer informações precisas para seus usuários

se precisares de ajuda, terei todo o gosto em ajudar

Hi stevenLAD,

I simply wanted to let you know that I decided to reestablished a primary link road that wraps around 'Monumento do Soldado Desconhecido', I had previously established the road at that location but it was removed in this changeset

I felt reassured to do so because as I was reviewing street-level imagery that had been uploaded to Mapillary, I came across a sequence of images which clearly shows the primary link road in question, signs in the vecinity also reinforce the same aswell - [ https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=-8.812694444444444&lng=13.230883333333333&z=17&pKey=iGI3emJ5WNjrune4RhTx-Q&focus=photo&signs=true&points=true&mapFeature%5B%5D=object--fire-hydrant&mapFeature%5B%5D=object--manhole&mapFeature%5B%5D=object--traffic-light--general-upright ]

regarding other concerns, you will have to excuse me for not having gotten back to some of your previous messages (I can sometimes be quite bad at that), the browser tabs where the messages are contained are lost among mirriad of other open tabs, I will get to them eventually
