alterei o seu edite de 'Estação de Combustível Marítima' que é uma designação destinado para o reabastecimento de barcos no mar para 'posto de gasolina'

thank you for the correction, the open iD interface really needs a more intuitive way to define tags, I usually type them out by hand, sometimes resulting in mistakes

I do not think that it would be permited to make a turn at this location, I think that those with the permission to access this route could use it as a passthrough if they are coming from 'Rua 17 de Setembro' heading for 'Rua Guilherme Capelo', I assume it is inaccessible to the general public because there is a lift-gate at this crossing, anyway, I wish I had a reference to show you but if you ever pass through 'Rua dos Herois' keep an eye out at this location

Hi stevenLAD, I could not help but notice that you eliminated one of my previous edits in this changeset, could you tell me why(?)

if it was a question of 'routing' then I think that the best think would have been to change the 'access' tag to 'destination' rather than eliminating it all together (the spesific afformention tag seems to work well with both Mapzen and OSRM), I noticed that 'Mapzen' and 'OSRM' provide incorrect routing directions through the way that was formally access restricted, Grasshopper seems to be the only navigation service that does not

The last time I surveyed this area, there was a street-level opening through the 'traffic island' that seperates the two directions of traffic on 'Avenida do 1º Congresso do MPLA' with a lift-gate barring access between 'Rua 17 de Setembro' and 'Rua Guilherme Capelo'

was there a recent change made to the road infrastructure in this area?

you will have to excuse me for intricately mapping out the parking areas near Marginal, realigning these ways must have been quite the chore

as GPS and birds-eye view satellite imagery can be unreliable, I will attempt to more accurately map some of these roads... someday

heading 'north' on 'Saida Oeste do Kilamba' after leaving 'Caidade de Kilamba', turning slightly left on the same road to enter 'Saida / Entrada Oriente do Kilamba', you will find a slight kink at the beginning of that road, the hyperlink below leads to a page that shows what I refer to above:

okay I see what is going on now, the tags for 'raised pedestrian crossing' are highway=crossing, traffic_calming=table, that is why there is an error, 'highway=crossing' should only be used for nodes

52640439

as I mentioned in my previous comment, I think that the edits that 'I thought' you were referring to must be the wrong ones, the wiki page (raised pedestrian crossing) for the edits that I thought you were referring to claims that I tagged the edits correctly, unless I tagged a 'way' as 'highway=crossing', then I would agree with the suggestion you made in your comment in the forum thread of the hyperlink you share with me a few comments above, contributors should not be allows to tag ways as 'highway=crossing' which should only be used for nodes

traffic_calming=table

I must have made a mistake because I do not recall tagging a way as 'highway=crossing'

52640439

I tried to emulate what I just described above but by all accounts, every thing seems to be in order, I think we must be referring to different edits, maybe I did make a mistake with a few of them, if you can local the edits that are tagged incorrectly then I think it would be best that you correct them

52640439

after investigating the issue, it would appear that the reason why the edit was represented as 'highway=footway, footway=crossing, highway=crossing' is because I had originally tagged the way as a 'pedestrian crossing' (highway=footway, footway=crossing), I then change the way from 'pedestrian crossing' to 'raised pedestrian crossing' the keys from the previous designation must have been transferred to the new designation, how I arrived at that conclusion was from reading the wiki for 'raised pedestrian crossing' which does allow for 'ways' (not just nodes) to be tagged with 'traffic_calming=table', therefore, my intention for using 'raised pedestrian crossing' was not necessarily incorrect, what turned the edit incorrect was due to the keys from the previous designation (pedestrian crossing) being transferred to the new designation (raised pedestrian crossing), someone really needs to check that out, I have also noticed that ways that were previously designated as a major road retained their thickness even after having being designated into a 'residential road', residential roads are represented less thickly as major roads are, you can see it for yourself on the map for the city of Luanda, the thicker roads are where ways were previously designated as major roads

Hi GerdP,

Whops, I made a mistake, I always use iD edit to make edits, seeing as the edits that you refer to are in regards to 'pedestrian crossings' that are raised to be on the same level as the sidewalk, I assumed that the correct representation for this was with the key 'highway:crossing' or 'raised pedestrian crossing' which is an established feature that can be found on iD, the reason why I made this mistake was because I did not read the wiki entry for the key due to assuming it represented what I thought it did, only after review the wiki entry do I realise that I used it incorrectly, thank you for pointing it out, I will correct them now

bounding Police establishments and court houses in an area using the key 'landuse: military' is not a correct designation, both of these amenities are civilian establishments, osm.wiki/Names - this article also explains why the names should not be abbreviated, some may know what the abbreviation stand for where as others may not

'Avenida de Portugal' is what the road used to be called when Angola was under the administration of Portuguese government, the name of the road is not considered an alternative name
