Dear user Sub_Zero2708, you have made a lot of modifications, including many deletions, to OpenStreetMap, and the only reason you are giving us for these edits is "fs24 4xmap" or, more recently, ",". This is not sufficient. Why did you delete the streams you deleted? Why did you delete power lines? Are you certain these features do not exist in reality? Please explain these deletions or they might have to be undone. And please be more forthcoming with explanations when you edit OSM in the future.

If you plan to regularly delete and re-create the staging areas like you did now, this will almost certainly be a no-go with the community.

Dear Dimitrios, when uploading data to OSM you are asked for a changeset comment. This comment tells other mappers what you were doing. If they look at the edit history for an area, they can immediately see "ah, there was an edit by Dimitirios here where he added buildings". At least that is what it should be. With your edits, all that everybody sees is "ah, there was an edit by Dimitrios here where he #hotosm-project-26175 #YouthMappers #YouthMappersAGU #YouthMappersSrinakharinwirot #tomtom #FuruhashiLab #AoyamaGSC #OSMBirthday2025EAP #tt_event #JPTHmapathon2025".

This is not helpful. Please write changeset comments that actually describe your edits ("traced buildings in XY" or so). What do these hashtags even mean? Why are you making edits related to some OSM birthday or mapathon from last year? What do your edits have to do with TomTom or Furuhashi? This does not make sense. Please stop it.

Please choose a changeset comment that is human-readable so that others can understand what you have been doing. This is especially important if you, like here, delete lots of buildings; other mappers will see this and ask themselves "why were these buildings deleted". Your current changeset comment of "#hotosm-project-39210 #JUBAInfrastructureDigitization2026 #OMDTZ" is not sufficient - nobody who is not part of your project will understand this.

Please also provide a human-readable description of your edit. "#hotosm-project-39838 #redcrossnigeria #IFRC #ECHO #Nigeria" is not human-readable. Explain what you did in this edit and why ("deleted buildings because ....").

Hi, you are adding nudism information to beaches across the planet. Have you visited these beaches in person? Then please set source=survey on your uploads to make that clear. If on the other hand you have retrieved this information from a third party source, then please specify that source so that others can verify that it is a legal source for OSM.

Please do not apply source tags to individual buildings, having them on the changeset is sufficient. I said the same to another project member yesterday. Please make sure this information is communicated to all other project members.

It appears that you have deleted all the roads in this town and are now re-creating them one by one. Please explain. Are all these streets really named "Drum comunal"?

Also, you have deleted a number of walls in this changeset. Do they no longer exist, or were they wrong? Please make it a habit to write human-readable changeset comments e.g. "deleted walls that have been demolished" and not "#hotosm-project-39210 #JUBAInfrastructureDigitization2026 #OMDTZ" which is word salad that nobody can understand.

The permission of the owner of the building is not required for the publication of details about the building if these details can be legally observed (which is clearly the case in an university). Your deletions have damaged OpenStreetMap and violated our contribution terms. I am therefore going to revert your edits.

Dear Oketch Ocheing, is this a data import, or what is the source "Mapbox" supposed to mean? I can see that the buildings you added largely correspond to Bing imagery, but it appears that ESRI imagery might be a much better source for tracing in this area. I wonder what your process was here.

Dear Mahmoudshrief, please do not add individual building plots as lanudse=residential; instead, draw large landuse=residential areas around the whole residential block. Also, take care not to draw overlapping landuse areas - here you have drawn farmland and residential areas *inside* a commercial area, but an area cannot be commercial and residential at the same time.

Dear Mahmoudshrief, please do not use the "name" field on buildings for putting in building numbers. If these are house numbers they should go in to the "housenumber" field, or if they are another kind of number they should go into the "ref" field, but never in "name"!

Please also use good changeset comments - "New Edit" is not a good comment because it says nothing about what your intentions were with that edit.
