1. Ein Foren-"Beschluss", nach dem ehemalige Bahnlinien einen Namen haben können existiert meines Wissens nach nicht. Dieser Name sollte wieder entfernt werden, ausser wenn er vor Ort beschildert oder in regelmäßigem Gebrauch ist.

2. Eine Bunkerruine ist kein Bunker, auch das wurde unlängst im Forum diskutiert. Wenn eine Bunkerruine eine vor Ort sichtbare Nummer hat, kann die in das "ref"-Tag eingetragen werden, nicht in den Namen.

3. Interteutones, das mag für Dich als relativen Neuling komisch klingen, aber die Leute, die den OSM-Editor programmieren, haben nicht unbedingt von jedem Detail eine Ahnung. Dass der Editor bestimmte Eingabefelder anbietet, heisst nie automatisch, dass ihr Befüllen auch erwünscht ist. Auch die Kartendarstellung - ob jetzt irgendwas mit einem umgedrehten Symbol verzeichnet wird oder nicht - ist für die korrekte Erfassung nicht relevant.

Diese Endlosdiskussionen in Changesets (oder im Mailaustausch mit der DWG, und damit sind beide Parteien angesprochen!) sind nicht zielführend. Wenn ihr beiden Euch schon nicht zu einem persönlichen Austausch treffen wollt (was ich betrüblich finde), diskutiert die Situation wenigstens im Forum, wo auch andere Communitymitglieder ihre Meinung sagen können.

Hallo Huldega, wo ist das "österreichweit einheitliche" System denn dokumentiert oder wo finde ich ein Diskussion, in der die Community dieses System beschlossen hat? Die Wiki-Seite osm.wiki/Austria/Nahverkehr_Vorarlberg#Tagging scheint Deiner Auffassung zu widersprechen; wenn auch diese Deiner Auffassung nach "nicht maßgebend" ist, was ist dann "maßgebend"? Warum hast Du Dich an der "belanglosen Diskussion" nicht beteiligt und Deine Auffassung vertreten? Wie kann Meinungsbildung in einer Community Deiner Ansicht nach funktionieren, wenn die, die eine andere Meinung haben, nicht bereit sind, sie öffentlich zu vertreten?

That is not the issue. The issue is that you have taken something that these DWG members have said in a private capacity and used it to support an un-discussed mass change in OSM. Personally, there's a ton of things in OSM that I find useless, and every now and then I will say that in a discussion, but this would not be a reason for anyone to go out deleting the stuff because "DWG member woodpeck said so". Do you understand the difference?

Casper, if the DWG concludes that tags should be removed then the DWG will remove these tags. If DWG members privately say that they think soemething is useless, that is NOT sufficient reason to delete whatever that is without any community consultation.

It appears that the node you deleted here used to be a sauna before it was broken by a newbie and then deleted by you. Do you have any information about the true situation on the ground, or did you simply delete something you did not understand?

Please do not create giant relations like this. We do not map continents in OSM; we have specifically invented coastline ways to avoid having to create multipolygons that are so large that nobody can edit them any more.

Hallo Theodin, vor 9 Jahren hast Du diesen Way way/211717761 bei OSM eingetragen. Ist das - besonders der Teil nordwestlich des Bachs - tatsächlich ein öffentlicher Weg? Die Nutzer der Gebäude am Nordwestende des Wegs haben sich beschwert, dass bei ihnen dauernd Fahrräder durch den Bauernhof fahren ;)

The trail you have drawn here is not visible on aerial imagery - the sharp bend to the South-West is particularly questionable. Please do not upload your GPX files as paths without proper quality control!

I am not sure what you mean by "probably automatically generated". If this is a process that automatically uploads data to OSM without supervision then it needs to follow our data import guidelines osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines

Dear yopaseopor, you're making a lot of changes spanning all of Spain or even larger areas where your changeset comment is "#fastag" and your "source" is usually given as "OSM data and wiki" or so.

If these are automated edits - where you use some rule to specify "all objects having these tags should (also) have these other tags", then this is an automated edit that needs to be discussed with the community before you execute it. You are expected to document these edits on the wiki. If you're not discussing these edits and not documenting them, and if they are automatic, then please stop them immediately.

In order for it to be *not* an automated edit, you have to review each changed object individually and make a decision. You would, for example, be expected to explain why in this changeset an industrial building that is not a supermarket (way/901524671) has been tagged with a supermarket brand?
