What does osm1 mean / as a useful change set comment? Why are building levels fractional - most houses here are two storey.

Would be really good if you could follow the local mapping style and split into individual dwellings. Just adding large blocks (like on Bedminster) isn't quite as useful.

Adding a one-way tag to a short segment of road creates an effective no-entry. Unfortunately JOSM doesn't seem to support a no-entry restriction -- although it looks reasonable from Bing imagery.

Removing the no-entry makes a "quiet change" that breaks the routeing -- it's not a good idea.

FYI: There are other roads in the vicinity with the same tagging style.

There are no 20mph zones in Bristol -- roads are listed individually in TRO's. We should be mapping speed limits based on presence or otherwise of speed limit signs.

Looking quickly in JOSM ESRI clarity seems a good match - ESRI is close, but seems to have a slight westerly offset (but I may be biased).

ESRI Clarity is the same as the original Bing imagery (which is now changed) a lot of original tracing was done from first Bing - so it has the benefit of consistency. This is documented on the Bristol page on the wiki -- maybe elsewhere.

Plus, if you move the roads you probably need to move the buildings to keep any gaps the same.
