This seems perfectly well-reasoned to me, along with changeset/145557069. Langdon is the most populous hamlet in Alberta (not counting the "special" administrations at Sherwood Park and Fort McMurray), so it stands to reason it's going to be the most awkward edge case for `place=hamlet`. As long as this area doesn't become an inner boundary for Rocky View County (i.e. as Irricana, Beiseker, Cochrane, Crossfield and Airdrie are), because no matter what we tag Langdon it's still part of RVC, it seems fine to me! :)

I presume you got the land ownership info you aded in this changeset from a Mountain View County map. It shouldn't be presented in the `name=*` key, 'name' should only be used for the name of the feature in question. I.e. you mapped farmland with `name=DALEY, R VAN TIGHEM, T`, but that farmer's field is not *named* "DALEY, R VAN TIGHEM, T". That's not what you *call* the field itself. Know what I mean?

That said I think you've tangentially brought up something worth talking about at greater length, which is the appropriateness of adding the names of land owners to the map itself. I have started a discussion at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/names-of-land-owners/107411. I'd love if you would participate in that discussion.

I have manually reverted this changeset, and parts of changesets 142207752 and 142989112; there is no connection between Kingsview Road, Range Road 293A and the new 40th Avenue interchange

Can someone local to the Edmonton area review these changes? Judging from aerial imagery the changes to Stony Plain Road are just made-up crap.

As far as I can tell every change you've made here to the roads at the Highway 8/Stoney interchange is a complete fabrication. It's all nonsense, there's no tunnel underneath the road carrying Lower Springbank Rd for example: that's complete BS.

GregHeffley275, being that your changes are falsehoods and junk, and given you've been completely ignoring every attempt to communicate with you, I have reported you as a vandal.

Can someone else revert this changeset? Or at least the changes to the roads? Perhaps the additional building and other ways are worth saving, but the roads changes are pure garbage.

Once again I have manually reverted your changes to Mini Thni Road. I don't know how many times I have to keep doing this before you either get a clue or bugger off, but *Alberta Highway 133X no longer exists*. There's no signage, and the provincial government doesn't maintain this road as a provincial highway anymore. I have kept the `old_ref=133X` tagging here, but otherwise I am going to keep changing this back every time you touch it.

Please stop ignoring these changeset messages.

Why did you extend Highway 2A to Balzac? 2A doesn't exist south of Crossfield. Why did you create a new Highway 54 relation? There already is a Highway 54 relation. Since when is there a tunnel from Crossiron Mills mall to the Rona+ (née Lowe's)?

It seems patently obvious to me you're just the user Evpac, evading the block imposed on you about three weeks ago. (osm.org/user_blocks/15424) If you want to continue to contribute to the map you need to start communicating with people when they ask you what the hell you're doing.

I see you are a relatively new contributor to OpenStreetMap; welcome! As you are new, you may be unfamiliar with the functionality of the map editors and with tagging guidelines.

Please note that a road being publicly inaccessible is insufficient justification for deleting it from the map. Access to roads can be specified with `access=*`. See access=*.

In this case, for example, the road you deleted was already tagged as `access=private`. Most data consumers who use OSM for general (public) traffic routing would thus summarily ignore this road, but the underlying data would remain for other users.

Please review the link to the OSM wiki above, and be careful about deleting things. It would be much appreciated if you undid your change here, and your first changeset changeset/145373499.

I see you made changes to the proposed interchange at Stoney Trail and 11 St NE in Calgary, changing the tagging from `highway=proposed` to `highway=construction`, which indicates that the road is currently being built. I can with 100% certainty tell you that that's completely untrue.

As per my comment on changeset/145340785: what are your sources? You're making some changes, particularly in the Calgary area, that are demonstrably untrue.

You have added waaaaaaaay more than "foot paths in Londonderry Mall" in this changeset. You've made changes in Calgary, 300 km away, some of which make me seriously question your sources. Your source is tagged as "aerial imagery" and "local knowledge" but you've made changes that contravene both, e.g. this pedestrian tunnel below Macleod Trail: way/1232733610

There was a pedestrian way on the map there before, but it had been deleted because *that tunnel is GONE*. It doesn't exist anymore.

Can you please substantiate your sources? I fear you're using very outdated information. And please, please confine your edits to smaller areas. It's so much easier for everyone else to review your changes.

FYI you mapped an apartment building with the tags `landuse=residential` & `residential=apartments`, but you don't need to do this: the entire complex is already outlined with a `landuse=residential` area.

Instead, the individual apartment buildings should be tagged with `building=apartment`. In the iD editor you can find this by searching for the feature type "Apartment Building" instead of "Apartment Complex". (I know it's a super minor distinction...)

You've been making changes across Alberta with the comments "Provincial Park Service wants [...]". Most of your changes seem relatively small, but I can't help but notice you've deleted some things off the map using an appeal to "Provincial Park Service wants [ ]", e.g. changeset/144674662.

Do you work for Alberta Parks? Do you represent them in any way?

Frankly what the "Provincial Park Service" [sic] want is entirely irrelevant to whether it belongs on OpenStreetMap or not. We can change the access tagging as appropriate to suit private or non-public access, but just because a road or path isn't open to the public is not a justifiable reason to delete it from the map.

I should also add (I ran out of room in my changeset comment): I removed the old FTR segment from Muskeg River to Goodwin from the Hwy 734 relation, as this is no signed as 734 and no longer maintained by Alberta Transportation (MD of Greenview maintains it).

It has been three days since I sent you a message and left a comment on your changeset changeset/144254712, and you still haven't replied. I'm concerned that you're not aware that many of the changes you're making are—from my own personal knowledge, being local to Calgary—blatantly incorrect. You made changes to 17th Avenue SW and Old Banff Coach Road which I know for a fact aren't true. I'm worried you don't realize you may be working off of outdated satellite photos and false info.

Please: respond to this comment. Barring a response from you I will otherwise refer your changes to the OSM Data Working Group, who may temporarily or permanently block you from contributing to OSM any further.
