It is not clear to me what value is added by adding the name:es=hasta la vista tag to this consulate. Perhaps you meant it as a joke but it detracts from the value of the map, so I am deleting it.

Nevertheless, amenity=consulate is correct and amenity=embassy is not. I’ve been a diplomat for over three decades and have served in a consulate as well as multiple embassies, and had the difference drilled into me. Please refer to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, which is the international treaty on consulates and consular affairs.

A consulate is not an embassy. I am changing all amenity=embassy tags to amenity=consulate in Istanbul. The embassies are in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.

Village of Bekibent does not appear on the authoritative list of Turkmen municipalities, either in that or any other alternative spelling I can think of. It may have been disincorporated and abandoned, but without a visit I cannot attest to it.

This is a duplicate of an existing gas station, and is mislabeled. It is Gas Station 61 as attested by ground truth. Bahry Hazar is not the name of the station.

The Derweze fire crater ("Gateway to Hell") is not a volcano and is not natural. It was created by an accident in 1971 and is a natural gas pit, not a volcano. I am deleting this duplicate node since the fire crater is already mapped and tagged.
