Handily, I had a chat on IRC with someone who'd done "the Ripper Rour" just after adding this comment. They did stop here, so in a sense it is a "tourist attraction" in that it attracts tourists, even though there's nothing signposted. I've left it for now, but suggested on IRC that anyone more local might want to delete if they thought it didn't belong there.

Is node/2497824565 actually a tourist attraction (i.e. something that you can visit) or is it just a place where something in the past happened? If so, a personal map (perhaps using something like http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/de/ ) would be better than pretending that it was a current tourist attraction.

There's been at least one example (in France) of people "spoofing" armchair mappers into adding inaccurate POIs based on notes. note/581423 might be entirely genuine, but a genuine local mapper would be able to (a) check that it was, (b) check whether "hostel" really was the best tag for it and (c) add any appropriate access tags.

It would be very helpful to explain what you've actually joined to what rather than using cryptic changeset comments that begin with "#to-fix". It would also be better if the bounding box for two changes didn't include about a quarter of the planet :)

Have you actually explained to the mappers whose work you changed here what you think "power_source is deprecated" in OSM means? I have asked this before, in changeset/35786763 , but got no answer there.
If their previous tagging was incorrect, how will they know not to use it next time?

What does "updating soucre from KG Ground Survey 2016" mean? Also, this is a huge changeset - it covers the whole planet, so it'll appear in everyone's "history" list. It'd be much better if you could just apply smaller local changes, and explain what changes you're making and what the source was.

Also I suspect that the name of way/420605713 isn't really "fixme"?

(different Andy here, but) I'm guessing land declared as "access land" under the Countryside and Rights of Way act (see https://www.gov.uk/guidance/open-access-land-management-rights-and-responsibilities ).
I tend to tag it as http://taginfo.openstreetmap.org.uk/tags/designation=access_land , but it's not been much discussed.

A duplicate of node/31101817 I suspect (from memory, a while ago, but I don't expect there's a whole of new development gone on here).

What did you use pastscape.org.uk as a source for? http://pastscape.org.uk/terms.aspx suggest that anything there is not going to be usable.

However, if you're worried that we don't have a source for Arbor Low, I can guarantee that it's still there :)

I suspect that Romania here was an unintended victim of this import since Tambre (mentioned in the changeset comment) is in Italy.
@pagot - can you undo the changes that you made here yourself or do you need help doing so?
Also, please don't reimport this (or any other) data in Italy as it clearly not suitable for OpenStreetMap. Please also read osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines .
