Hi
landuse=grass in not required. It is for specific areas as indicated in the wikipage's first sentence:
landuse=grass

The landuse of golf features is 'golf' not grass.
To distinguish any differences the 'surface' tag should be used.

golf=* are a specific sport subset of leisure=pitch.
The tag to distinguish it's playing finish is 'surface'
leisure=pitch

Hi
FYI railway platforms don't require a highway tag as walking on them is their raison d'etre.
If you've time mapping them as polygons with an area=yes tag adds good detail.

iD's suggestions often do sound like a command. I think it should always be be questioned whether the recommendation is appropriate.
Some are just plain wrong.

I've queried the validity of another validation check on iD's github page.

Hi
Al UK railway stations are already mapped as nodes. Converted to train station building

Hi
You've overlaid duplicating golf features. Could you take a look & amend as appropriate?

Hi
Somehow you've overlaid & duplicated many of the golf features in these two changesets.

Could you take a look at it please.

Hi
If there are routers who don't route along platforms without the highway tag, then they need to be informed.

Please don't delete valid data.

Hi
Which router is failing to understand 'bridleway'?

Access is not permissive.

Hi
All railway stations are tagged as nodes. Buildings use train_station tag.

Hi
The Southern end of this must looks like it should be cycleway to link with the cycle road crossing:
way/975016505

Even with an adjacent cycleway riding on the road is allowed. Her you tagged it a 'no':

Here as 'permissive':

Hi
Welcome to OSM. Nice house detailing.
One point- If possible we try to amend existing objects, rather than delete them, as it retains their edited history.

Hi
Do you know if the NCN diversion is still in place & if the cyclepath is the full length of the road? (Images are inconclusive)

@rskedgell Ah, well if that's the case, that is /really/ poor interpretation by komoot.

@komoot. Can you explain (preferably on Talk-GB forum) what in-house plans you propose to instigate to ensure this cock-up doesn't occur in the future?

111443049

@rskedgell
You've lost me. The two ways in this changeset have not had such tags. Komoot appear to be misinterpreting highway=path as bicycle compliant.

You're original looks good.
For the second: osm.wiki/Relation:site

Relations were only invented to enable mapping when using just ways & nodes weren't sufficient. Regrettably there's a growing feeling that using relations should be the default standard & as you're testify it gets confusing.

The iD editor was meant to be a clear, simple editor for beginners. Something appears to have gone astray.
It no even attempts to validate, but again, regrettably, presents them as items that are definitely in need of correction, rather than suggestions which require further investigation.
