In the case of county roads (and other highways that only have a ref), the name should only be the name, so ref=CR 2971 is preferable with noname=yes being added.

Good catch on this, but this isn't a single giant building nor is the whole thing one single giant conference center. I've updated it to "park" which is the closest category OSM has for fairground at this time.

name=* is not necessary in this case. leisure=sports_centre would be appropriate if this were a swimming complex, but this appears to just be a pool. Try leisure=swimming_pool instead.

That said, Roman Nose, nice park. Haven't been there since Oklacon was held at the Turkey Roost group camp though.
