I already fixed it by the time you replied, the link above shows what I was seeing for context.

I would generally consider them neighborhoods. A single apartment complex would warrant a landuse designation with a name.

Neighborhood would be the right tag for this, not landuse=residential. landuse=* is more for lots or blocks, not entire regions.

highway=secondary is fair, but the right turn lane isn't...that lane got dropped on the northbound side of Denver (and if you want to get more technical than OSM can handle, then specifically the right lane of northbound Denver)

I really think that page was developed in a vacuum and doesn't agree with how routes are handled elsewhere in the map. Maintainability is greatly diminished by using cardinals as roles on ways instead of forward/backward and (if the relation ends on a dual carriageway on one or both ends) one relation per direction with the relation tagged direction=cardinal

I intended to get more up to date speed limits from OpenStreetCam, but fell asleep.

This was a bad change. The only relevant roles for ways in a route relation are empty, forward and backward. The only time east, west, north or south should come up as a role is in superrelations for subrelations.
