Encouraged but not required? Uuh, dude... seriously? ORS 814.400 Vehicle Code Applicable To Bicycles, and ORS 811.320 Failure to Drive on Right of Divided Highway.

On the Oregon side, yeah, both cycleways on the Interstate Bridge are one way.

On the Washington end: RCW 46.61.100, Keep right except when passing, etc. and RCW 46.61.755, bicycles responsible as vehicles.

There's no dispute on this, these are 100%, one-ways, the east cycleway is northbound only, the west one is southbound only, by state law, in both states.

I think you meant osm.wiki/Tag:destination:street=, not destination:ref

Or, heck, way more common example... say you're heading trough Fowler or Pershing on the main highway through. Neither of those have names, but people will typically call them "highway 62" or "highway 11" given that their refs are US 62 and OK 11 respectively.

No problem, someone's gotta do it to help keep Oklahoma improving and have some semblence of both human and machine readability.

In terms of ref versus name... I think most people not invested in which specific field would probably just describe it's location relative to a landmark, much as is the same with fire hydrants or lampposts that have refs as unique identifiers. Like "the soccer field farthest from John Marshall" instead of "field 18". Much the same way that the identifier of a lamppost isn't particularly of interest to someone who isn't the city electrician or a geocacher that hid their cache under a bolt cap...

Use "Northwest" instead of "NW", please. Computers struggle to find the correct expansion but reliably can make the correct abbreviation on the fly.

Landuse should be congruent with actual landuse, not crossing roads but closer to a cadastre as much as practical; neighborhoods can be organized as place=neighborhood
