thanks for your edit, it's much appreciated
perfect, thanks for confirming
hey, on node/8004486862 you added `emergency=fire_sprinklers` - could you please help me understand what this tag means? There is a recently approved tag system which might help in this situation: emergency=fire_service_inlet

thanks for your edit, i fixed the multipolygon "issue". I don't use JOSM but in iD a point goes grey if there are multiple lines joined to that point. You can select a point and press ⌘ ⬆️ to see all lines joined to that point. presumably JOSM has a similar feature.

Hi, `tunnel=pipe` isn't valid. You might notice that the underground streams now look the same as overground streams. It should either be: `waterway=stream` + `tunnel=culvert` or `man_made=pipeline` + `substance=water` + `location=underground` + `oneway=yes`

hey, it seems like NSI has been configured to ban names which contain the branch. This is something we can change, BNZ has already been changed to allow any name. https://github.com/osmlab/name-suggestion-index/blob/2130753/data/brands/amenity/bank.json#L2205 what do you think?
oops, wrong account
Hi, there's nothing wrong with platforms and footpaths overlapping - this is actually quite important, because some navigation software will only direct people along roads and paths, not platforms (nor along piers/jettys). Here's an example of this at Manurewa Station, where the more logical route would be to walk along the platform: osm.org/directions?engine=fossgis_valhalla_foot&route=-37.02371%2C174.89689%3B-37.02309%2C174.89602#map=19/-37.02336/174.89604

Hi, please see comments at changeset/131630301 - same thing for these two lines - they were separate because one had `lanes=1` and the other had `lanes=2` Same with changeset/131629529 - the tunnel had `maxheight=4.63` and `covered=yes`. now both features have `covered=no` and `maxheight=4.63` which doesn't seem right
Hi, you've merged two sections of road which have different speed limits. In OSM it's common for roads (and roundabouts) to be split into many small segments, so that things like speed limits and bus routes can be accurately modelled. way/147615264 should have `maxspeed=50`, right?
| 131628275 | Hi, you've been changing a lot of underground power cables into overground power lines. I don't think any of these edits are correct... also:
sure, I'll change the tags. gay=* was the first result in google and it wasn't obvious from that wiki page that's there's a better tag
Hi, you didn't reply to my question a year ago when you first made this change ( http://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=639245 ) So, could you please explain what the source of this name is. Is there a signpost that says "Cotton Channel" or "Cotton Spinney"? Alternatively, are these names documented anywhere online or in a map? Thanks
Hi, it's best practice to create waterway relations for rivers & streams that have a name. Unfortunately there are still many minor streams that haven't been mapped in OSM, which makes it tricky to create these relations in an automated way. So you'll probably find that a lot of rivers in OSM don't have a `type=waterway` relation (yet)
Hi, one of your recent changesets has broken this forest multipolygon: relation/2694771. You can tell because an enourmous chunk of the map no longer has any landuse. Could you please take a look. Thanks!
thanks for the photo! I've deleted the monitoring station, if someone knows what this fenced off area is used for, they can map it in the future
Hi, thanks for your edit. Chatsfield Village was incorrectly marked as an actual village, which was causing issues. I've changed it to a Retirement Home to prevent future issues
Hi, both. I think the correct tagging would be `emergency=fire_detection_system` on one node, and (`emergency=fire_water_inlet` + `fire_mains=wet` + `fire_sprinkler=yes`) on a separate node. based on osm.wiki/Proposal_features/Building_inlet Both nodes are visible here: https://goo.gl/maps/MmnjcYRwe6opoo5M6 (but obviously, we don't use google maps as a source)
I've run the address import tool which has automatically fixed this and some other dragged nodes (changeset/130671132)
Hi, you deleted the Waimauku RSA, has it closed down? As far as I can tell it still exists - https://fb.me/rsakaiwaka and https://cab.org.nz/community-directory/KB00028432
