also, you turned a building into a landuse feature. The AUT student apartments should be tagged as `building=apartments`, not `landuse=residential`

this building is near the top of the symonds street hill, the elevation definitely isn't 0 masl

oh oops, didn't realise that. So should the beach be drawn on the seaward side of the coastline as well, or only between the backshore and the the high water mark? wiki page isn't clear

sorry this was me, I saw a sign that said "Residents access only" so I assumed that was a permanent change

91568479

reverted in changeset/91694519, also updated the route to tie into the new roads in the Kāinga Ora development

Hi, you changed the status of the New Lynn to Avondale shared path from "construction" to "proposed"

Could you please explain why you made that change? Construction is underway right now, see page 3 of https://at.govt.nz/media/1983299/at-new-lynn-avondale-path-newsletter-july-2020.pdf Construction is also clearly visible on Maxar Satellite Imagery

Hi, the AMETI shared path has already been mapped. You've added another shared path next to the existing one.

It's confusing in the iD editor because the shared path and the busway are rendered the same, but one has construction=cycleway and one has construction=unclassified.

If you take a look at the map (e.g. here: osm.org/#map=19/-36.90811/174.85871) you can see that there are now two shared paths along the busway

You renamed the hamlet "Kuratau Junction" to "Kuratau", but I think that's wrong, Kuratau is the lakeside village here: node/1448689686

oh sorry, I was looking at a cached version of the map. I thought you made the opposite change...

Are you sure about this? I'm pretty sure the 🚷🚳 sign is at the roundabout itself

Hi, thanks for the contribution! If cycleways are not physically separated from the car lanes, the convention is to add a tag to the existing road instead of drawing the cycle lane separately. In this case, you could just add cycleway:left=lane to Domain Drive. Here's an example: way/29849581

You added a new suburb called "St Johns", but there is already a suburb called "Saint Johns" here. node/283302219 I've reverted this changeset

nah, all i did was map the helipad. couldn't easily figure out where "Sentinel Rock" is supposed to be (if not where it current is)

Hi, this road was closed 4 years ago.... I've removed it again

87223278

Please revert this change. In New Zealand, Trunk Roads are only used for significant State Highways that are not motorways. Refer to osm.wiki/Highway:International_equivalence

In Auckland, highway=primary is used exclusively for roads that are considered an "Urban Route" (the white shield on road signs), refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auckland_urban_route_network

There is no reason why these roads should be tagged as highway=trunk. They are no different to any other "urban route" in Auckland.

Apologies, I usually let the iD editor automatically set the "source" tag on my changesets. From now on, I will explicitly specify "Local Knowledge" as a source where appropriate

The LINZ Aerial Imagery is nearly 3 years out of date... There is currently major construction works going on, refer to
https://at.govt.nz/projects-roadworks/hurstmere-road-streetscape-upgrade The roundabout will remain partially blocked off until the end of this year.
