oh yeah it's not important in this example. just thought i'd mention why seamark:type=hulk & seamark:hulk:category is useful. the osm wiki is rather confusing when it comes to seamarks :(
sure. the downside is without a seamark tag it's invisible on nautical maps like OpenSeaMap. which is probably not a big issue in London where very few seamaps are mapped mapping hulks with seamark tags is useful when it's overlayed with AIS data, which a good marine GPS unit would do. e.g. https://map.openseamap.org/?zoom=17&lat=-36.83445&lon=174.79524&layers=BFTFFFFFFTF0TFFFFFFFFF you can see the ferry(ies) berthed next to the 'hulk'
*nautical
| 127038266 | if i recall correctly, the official naturical charts show it as a hulk (OBJL=HULKES) presumably with CATHLK=3 which according to seamark:hulk:category=* would translate to
so i guess the AHO are tagging-for-the-renderer if it's not strictly a hulk :) |
oh sorry, I thought i saw a sign that said it was permanently moored there...
sorry, thanks for fixing this
| 128797552 | hi again. I signed up to discord but couldn't figure out how to join the oceania group... anyway, here's a few of those junctions that I noticed. and i'm happy to change 'oneway' to 'railway:preferred_direction' as you mentioned in a different thread, if you think that's a good idea osm.org/#map=19/-33.94190/150.94304
cool, I'll join the discord tonight. yeah the number of exceptions to that rule confused me a bit. stuff like this: osm.org/#map=19/-33.82962/151.21377
yeah, a number of tracks already had oneway=yes so I just followed the (local) convention. Sorry if this is wrong. In europe they seem to use railway:preferred_direction instead, so I guess all the `oneway=yes` tags could be changed to `railway:preferred_direction=forward`...
Hi, sorry this is what I saw at many other interchanges around syndey (e.g. osm.org/#map=19/-33.91897/150.85298). will fix
the turn restriction looks good, nice work
thanks for your edits! local knowledge is much appreciated, there aren't many people mapping around Hamilton
thanks!
great, thanks for taking the time to fix this
thanks for fixing one of the issues, but it seems like most of the bridges you editted have been dragged, including the ones from the other changeset(s?) for example, the one linked in my comment above is still broken
Hi, someone has put a lot of effort into precisely mapping different landuse areas. Why have you deleted all these areas? the huge new residential area that you've drawn around the whole suburb includes parks, shops, sports fields and churches, which are definietly not "residential"
Hi, please see comments on changeset/128194856 this changeset also broke a footway: way/393909157 I would fix this myself, but iD doesn't let you edit it because it has overlapping geometry
Hi, you seem to have dragged a node 20km north, which has broken this footway way/340785580 it's hard to review this changeset for other issues because its too big for software like OsmCha. but your other changeset has a similar issue
thanks, I wasn't sure if it counts as a fender since the wiki page says that tag can't be used on nodes - seamark:shoreline_construction:category=fender
hey, what's the correct way of tagging that a pile or post is padded with rubber tyres? it looks a bit like this: https://flic.kr/p/4SSyKv
