I very much like Crschmidt's work on the data browsing thingy. That is all.

Am 27. Juni fuhr ich für mehrere Stunden in den Orten Niederkassel und Lülsdorf folgende Straßen ab und erfasste sie mit JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap Editor):

Das Straßennetz von Lülsdorf ist keineswegs vollständig, wie ich im Verlaufe der Tour feststellen musste. Dies gilt im besonderen Maße für das Neubaugebiet. Daher beschränke ich meine künftigen Mapping-Touren vorerst auf Lülsdorf.

Ich vermisse in JOSM die Möglichkeit, mehrere bereits eingezeichnete, ineinander verlaufende Straßen ohne Namen aufzutrennen, um diese jeweils mit den entsprechenden Namen zu versehen. Es ist zeitaufreibend, die betreffenden Straßenzüge zu löschen und diese in JOSM neu einzuzeichnen.

Zusätzlich ergänzte ich die Karte um eine Kindertagesstätte, Spielplätze, Gasthäuser, Briefkästen, Parkplätze, Kirchen und Ampeln.

Started to map residential roads in the "Obstberg" area

Set off to cycle from north of Basingstoke to Alton on NCN23 -- unfortunately, I ran out of signs (and time) on the outskirts of Medstead -- but hopefully, there's a reasonable start made to tag this extra branch (plus a bit of a cleanup and a few more POIs, etc.).

Have you noticed the new data overlay on the OSM maps? Very useful.

I went for a bit of a walk last night to get some street names out in the West Ashgrove area. Should show up on the osmarender layer soonish.

Finally got the chance to do the Dean Court end of town some justice; named and added several roads, tweaked and detailed. The St Thomas / Osney area was missing a few pubs and other things on the way up so I've either fixed those or queued them up on OpenStreetBugs for a future visit.

350km-Moppedrunde im mittleren Schwarzwald (südwestlich von Freudenstadt bis Kinzigtal, Hamersbachtal). Dank MoCaching wieder ein paar kleine und kleinste ungemappte Straßen gefunden oder korrigiert und den Brandenkopf (945m) eingetragen.
Einmal sogar dank OSM einen existierenden befahrbaren Weg gefunden, der bei Garmin nur ein Waldweg war... :-)

16 Jun completed the sectors E of Station Road; also W of Norwood Road/S of Dartfort Rd, down to the river. Still some streets in between these need doing.

26 Jun completed the central part north of the river, and almost everything south of St Peters/Upwell Road.

Did most part of upper Sopot on my bike this evening.

Uploaded missing GPX sources.

Heading off to do more trails in Bellbird Grove area, Brisbane Forest Park.

I just started to classify the blanks of the paths I found next to my home.

So, I have received my new (bought used) GPS unit. It's a Mio Digiwalker 168. It came with an 512 MB SD card, but I will upgrade it with a 2 GB card. That should be able to hold quite some tracks as well as maps.
I have managed to make traces and upload them to OpenStreetMap. Looks good.
