Aren't the helmsley walks connected in that they share a wide cross walk across the street?

To me, the separate way method is visually more accurate and captures more detail. However, I understand this is is not a "set policy"...

If physical separation is required to map it separately, then perhaps this wasn't the right move. From a visual perspective, it's a 2-way path protected from a one-way street by a row of parked cars
