| 171025277 | Hallo nochmal :) deine Änderungssatzkommentare machen leider absolut keinen Sinn. Du änderst nur ein paar Schreibweisen verbesserst aber nichts an den Daten. In dieser Änderung wäre es zB hilfreich gewesen, herauszufinden was denn der "komische" Name soll. Vielleicht kannst du mal erklären, was genau du mit deiner Arbeit hier bewirken möchtest und vielleicht können wir dir dabei helfen es besser zu machen. | 170993478 | Hello robram2004, thank you for replying. it's not about absolutely not mapping things with strava. It's about being very careful with the sources you use and the places you use them in. If there's only a hint of trails someplace and no other evidence and you haven't been there personally it's not a good idea to map a path. It's also never a good idea to map a "highway=footway" somewhere in the forest where you haven't been. If you've been someplace and you have seen a path going somewhere it's ok to use strava to map the path and even make it longer beyond where you saw it. It's a good guess. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say? Also, please consult the wiki on all things "highway" before you continue. You wouldn't wish to think that there's a well trodden path someplace because our data says so and when you get there there's just jungle or desert, right? safe travels

Wenn hier jedoch, so wie du sagst, *kein* Zusatzschild "Radfahrer frei" und auch keine lokale Radroute ausgeschildert ist, dann dürfen wir hier kein "bicycle=yes" setzen, da es rein rechtlich einfach nicht erlaubt ist. Dass es wirklich unglaublich häufig vorkommt, dass die Verwaltung nur an den motorisierten Verkehr denkt, wenn sie Schilder aufstellen lässt ändert leider nichts daran. Ggf. mal ne Mail an die Verwaltung. Manchmal werden dann bessere Schilder aufgestellt. cheers

Also: You added "highway=footway" somewhere in the South American forest. If there really is something, it probably is a highway=path. People have said before that it is not advisable to map by Strava alone. There should be at least a second reason to add something to the map besides Strava data. happy mapping

| 170990084 | Hi :) auch wenn es technisch gut möglich ist eine Adresse aus dem Umriss auf den POI zu berechnen ist es trotzdem ok und nicht unüblich einem POI die volle Adresse aus Str., HsNr, PLZ und Ort zu geben. Auch wenn das dazu führt, dass eine Adresse in der Suche mehrfach auftaucht, so ist es doch für viele Anwendungen wesentlich einfacher. Happy mapping

I haven't looked at the english wiki for tennis courts recently but the parts you quoted sound like they need discussion in the community and an update because I dislike having to very different "top level" tags (barrier=fence + landuse=*) on the same OSM-object. Interesting workflow. Dropping the nodes so the MR-challenge will pick them up. happy mapping |

| 170937689 | Hi :) ich sehe, dass du hier vor ein paar Jahre den node von cellar_entrance zu historic building geändert hast. Damit bin ich nicht ganz einverstanden, da es für mich so aussieht als hätte Jo_Cassel damals ganz korrekt den Eingang zum Keller kartiert und mehr stellt dieser node auch nicht dar. Daher sollten building:levels:underground und historic=building wieder entfernt werden und wieder ein Kellereingang aus dem node gemacht werden, oder? Grüße

Optimal wäre zu wissen, wie die Beschilderung aus der anderen Richtung aussieht (das ist leider oft nicht einheitlich und macht es uns schwerer).
