If that's the case, I would probably support tagging the laneways as highway=living_street. FYI, This tag has a specific definition in Australia: osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Roads
They are similar to highway=residential but relatively more minor as they can be assumed to have higher pedestrian presence. Also they have been decoupled from the designation=shared_zone tag. The brick paving at the entrances is a strong characteristic.

Hi, I'm wondering if these roads (most of which having the "Lane" suffix) really should be highway=residential, as they seem to only be used for road access to garages and not have any address points associated with them. Additionally they are narrower than the surrounding residential roads and have no sidewalks. They were previously service=alley which I think is probably a better fit.

I think it's pretty clear that the site is private property. I'm not really sure how notable the archeological site is or its exact location. I think ideally the tags should be retained and labelled access=private but it's not a disaster, probably of minimal public interest

I think `motor_vehicle=private` `foot=designated` `bicycle=designated` is sufficient, considering `motor_vehicle=private` encompasses the only significant access restriction

Hi, I feel like the access=no tag on way/22731635 is ambiguous given that foot=designated. Just confirming, it is accessible by foot? I understand there is a gate at the western entrance to Ingar Road that can be bypassed on foot but restricts access to cars.
