I successfully put Novato Baylands Point Blue Conservation Science as a pin on the map. However, I have not had success with editing the directions that maps provides to get you to the site. The directions still route you past the facility, rather than stopping right at the facility. They should tell you to go down Aberdeen Rd, and then the location is on your right. Thanks for any assistance with editing the route.

Hi, First off, I’ve removed the duplicated building you placed over the existing one. If something needs correcting in OSM, it’s best if possible to correct any existing feature. I’ve placed your new tags on the existing building.
On the OSM front page routing, the Valhalla and GraphHopper routers seem to route correctly to the building. The OSRM router does have a problem. I tested the route to the building from various starting points. It seems that OSRM refuses to go through the gate on Aberdeen Road near the Hamilton Parkway junction. The gate is tagged motor_vehicle=private. If the gate actually allows public access, I’d remove the private tag, OSRM might then route differently.

In addition BCNorwich’s advise, we have to wait several days for the routing engines to react to edits. I guess the routing engines may only download a new map data once a week. This time lag can be confusing because the data may be correct but the routing still does not work as expected. If something does not work as expected give it a week. then ask for help.
