I don't really like addr:housename as it renders as a light grey in small chars, instead of 'name' which renders in more readable letters. I think that routers are using name and addr:housename, am I right ?

I checked the pub tonight at around 7PM, it was totally empty, lights off. I think that it's permanently closed...

Hi, I believed that the pub was fully closed down 3 months ago when I went past it. Did I get it wrong, was it a temporary renovation ? Did you see it open in the last 3 months ?

I've googled it just now and seen on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Widow%27s_Son,_London that it's meant to be rebuilt as flats very soon by the way.

This is correct, the road has been closed and replaced by new builds across the area. Will add more updates next week.
