Bridge closed during the construction which is scheduled to finish at the end of May

Kahuterawa Road is closed on weekdays to allow emergency repairs. Work is expected to be finished by mid-June.
Road closure schedule:
- Weekdays only
- Closed from 8:30am to 3pm
- Open from 3pm to 3:30pm (travel window for you to get through if required)
- Closed again from 3:30pm to 5pm

From Monday 5 May, the bridge on Mihaere Drive will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians for about four weeks. Working hours will be between 7am and 5pm, however, the road and footpaths will always remain closed.
During the closure, detours will be in place via Kaimanawa Street and Keith Street. Signage will be installed to direct traffic and pedestrians around the worksite. Access to all properties will remain.
