At all other lakes I know the usual "name" and "alt_name" tags are used. What is your reason to use other tags here? If it is just to avoid displaying the name on the map, this is "mapping for the renderer" and heavily discouraged.

Your tags are not documented anywhere. Please add them to the Wiki (using the proposal process) describing their purpose.

Hi,
welcome to OSM!
I saw some uncommon tags in your edits like these:
Building Age = Recent (post 2000)
Name of City = Dar es Salaam
Name of the ward = Kigogo
Steet Name = Mkwajuni
In OSM we have to use a well-defined set of tags to allow all the software tools to understand the data and e.g. show it on maps. Please have a look to the OSM Wiki to find out which tags are in use.
Your tags should be addr:city, addr:street.

Hi,
could you check this waterway? The tag 'brie=yes' looks like a mistake.

Hi,
I saw that you added tags like
height:2017.06 = 0,9 to trees and hedges.
I do have a few comments on that:

- dates have to be given as "YYYY-MM-DD", see osm.wiki/Proposed_features/Date_namespace
- the decimal separator is a dot: "0.9"
- there is no need to tag a hedge as individual trees - you can use other tags like natural=tree_row or barrier=hedge and draw a way along the hedge.
- this date namespace is not used by many tools. The height information would be available to many more applications if you change the tagging to

height = 0.9
check_date:height = 2017-06

Hi,
there are two ways that got the tag "revf = CR 1654" - this looks like a mistake, could you check that?

Hi,
you used a strange tag on some of these nodes: "_Localisation_de_la_structure_precision". Could you explain what it means?

Could you check this butcher? Something went wrong with the name tag.

Hi,
this changeset contains some tags with spelling mistakes. First of all, all tags, keys and values should use lower case letters. (Names do use upper case of course)

addr:Distirct -> addr:district (note the spelling mistake)
addr:Village -> addr:village
building:condition=Moderate -> 'moderate'

Another point: The tag "building:levels=0" implies that the whole building is underground. This can't be right as it can clearly be seen on aerial images.

In total there are about 2000 of these wrong tags in this area. Could you have a look and fix these?

Perfect, I'll change the tag.

Happy mapping!

Hi,
you used the tag "sourcename" on this road - the correct key would be "source:name". I fixed it right now.

I didn't know the word "borne" and Google Translate also didn't...

I think "barrier = bollard" is what you are looking for, see
osm.wiki/FR:Tag:barrier%3Dbollard

Hi,
you have imported some ways with only foreign tags. Could you check that?

Hi,
I found several hydrants with the tag "sostoyanie =исправен" - this looks like a mistake. Maybe "working=yes" would be a replacement?

I deleted those tags now.

Hallo,
wie kann das Dach hier "abandoned" sein? Da wurde doch nicht unter einem verfallenen Dach ein neues Haus gebaut?

Hi,
you used the tag "borne = yes" here - this is new. What does it mean?

Cheers, Jan

Hi,
I changed static_caravans to static_caravan because the plural wasn't in the database before you added it and the singular was already used 170 times.
Looking closer into it, it looks like the singular key was used to describe a type of building, not camp site features.

So, let's use the plural for camp sites. I'll take care to change this later.

Hi,
what are the parkings like these actually:
way/577420145/history

- there are no keys like "car_parking" or "motorcycle_parking"
- first you put a bicycle parking tag there.

Can you write what these 2 areas are actually? (Du kannst gerne auch in deutsch antworten)

I also doubt that all these street_lamps are actually in the mapped positions, there are places with 10 lights in a 10m x 10m area.
(Esri images seem to be up-to-date here)

Hi,
the tag "naptan:locality_name" is new to OSM. We do already have a larger number of "naptan:Locality" which seems to be the same. Maybe you can change these tags?

Cheers, Jan
