| 96023763 | Great, thanks! I asked because I have actually seen people adding events, for example "meeting point for city tour on June 1st". Just out of curiosity: What does parti mean? My translator only says "party". |
| 96023763 | This looks like an event to me, not like a place: node/8238291073 Is "Trnovski parti" actually the name of this place? |
| 133935857 | Ah right. :-) I've removed it as the tag did not add any information that wasn't already there. Happy mapping! |

| 133935857 | Hi,
| 126057603 | Thanks for spotting this! I've just corrected it.

| 129139484 | Cool :-) |
| 129139484 | Hi, Can you
You may know that mapping non-existing things is rather frowned upon by the community. I don't really mind in this particular case, but I'd agree with the wiki insofar as a source should be provided to offer at least a bare minimum of verifiability. Same for this one: way/1115594603 |
| 133486836 | Also, the way you're adding members to your bus route relations does not conform PTv2 standards, see osm.wiki/Buses The wiki is a bit confusing there. Where it speaks of "stops", it does *not * mean public_transport=stop_position, highway=platform (which is the area where people wait for the bus, next to the carriageway) |
| 98874503 | Hej, this looks more like a ford than a bridge on the aerial imagery way/904899701 Do you know that I bridge has been built here recently or is this a mistake? |
| 133486836 | Hey, it seems you're creating gaps in existing bus routes when you're creating new ones. I'm not sure how this happens. I see you're using JOSM, which in my experience is quite good for dealing with relations. I don't know if you get warnings from JOSM when you're editing routes. But if you do get warnings, then please take them seriously. A number of bus routes have become broken in Ljubljana in the past few weeks. (which I'm currently fixing) Anyways, great thing that you're contribution to completing the LPP network! |
| 133477246 | With this changeset, you've split the sidewalk along Celovška into 2 ways here but did not change the tags on these ways accordingly. On the footway, there are now-meaningless tags like cycleway:surface, segregated, oneway, oneway:bicycle
On the cycleway, information about surface and street name are now lost: way/1150906093 |
| 133520406 | Please don't map separate lanes by individual ways. This is not how things are mapped in OSM. If there is no physical separation between lanes, you must not map them individually. I advise you to read and understand osm.wiki/Highways#Carriageways before you continue mapping. |
| 133250856 | Hi! Thanks a lot for your enthusiasm for improving the map. However, in order to avoid doing more harm than good, please start by taking small steps and by doing things you understand. As with many other things, there is a learning curve in OSM and it appears that you're trying to deal with things that you're lacking the necessary experience for. You severely risk putting off other mappers because they feel you're destroying the map, into which they have already put thousands of hours of voluntary work. For example: 1) With this changeset, you've mapped a lot of simple sidewalks and traffic islands as pedestrian areas. Have a look at the wiki. This is not what the highway=pedestrian tag is meant for. 2) You've destroyed connections that exist in the real world. For example, after your changes, routing engines cannot anymore route cyclists from Celovška cesta way/1150942759 into Alešovčeva ulica way/867882743 because of changed layout and persisting oneway tags. Likewise for cyclists riding southbound way/727578804 and wanting to turn into Na jami way/986464720. 3) Before your change, the sidewalk ways were very precisely aligned to a high-resolution aerial imagery. Now, they are not anymore. 4) You’ve mapped a fictional road which is not physically separated from other roads way/1152644580 . In OSM, we don’t map individual lanes (this is done via tags, not by mapping separate ways). Your motivation and contribution is very much welcome. Eager mappers a desperately needed. But PLEASE PLEASE: A) Don’t create huge changesets. Nobody will understand your intentions. Make small changesets and give these changesets meaningful comments, so others can understand what you’re trying to do. B) Do only stuff that you understand. C) Consult more experienced mappers or, even better, seek advice in the forum, in case you’re uncertain. https://community.openstreetmap.org D) Keep in mind that OSM data is used for serious real-world applications like routing. A damaged map means that routers that rely on OSM data will deliver wrong results. E) Run through OSM beginners’ guides and tutorials in order to get a rough idea of the basic workings. If you have questions, please ask me or other mappers or the community forum https://community.openstreetmap.org. People are more than happy to help! Happy mapping!

| 133518000 | *I meant to write "There is a parallel sidewalk which is mapped explicitly, SO foot=use_sidepath and especially bicycle=use_sidepath should be the correct tag." That might be a confusing typo, sorry |
| 133518000 | Hi, A couple of things: 1) You've changed foot=use_sidepath and bicycle=use_sidepath to foot=no and bicycle=no in Samova ulica, for example here: way/39603613 What was your reason for doing that? There is a parallel sidewalk which is mapped explicitly, no foot=use_sidepath and especially bicycle=use_sidepath should be the correct tag. 2) Please split up your changes into smaller changesets so others can understand what you are trying to do. 3) For the same reason, please try to use more meaningful changeset comments than just "Tags." |
| 133449377 | Hey,
If possible, it makes sense to split your contributions into smaller changesets, so it is more easy for others to understand what you're doing |
| 130196457 | Sorry! I'm cleaning this up right now. |
| 122336801 | Hi, after your edit, this part of Zaloška way/867093972 is tagged with bicycle=no + cycleway:right=lane ...which is obviously contradictory. Are bikes allowed here or not? |
| 120463790 | The questions had swiftly been answered by another mapper changeset/122725302 |
| 122725302 | Nice! And apparently even with infrastructure for those weirdos called "cyclists"! :-) |
