If the elevation is given on the guidepost, it is too low. My source for the accurate elevation was the Laserscan (as I tagged on the mountain pass), and you can see by the contour lines that 2698m is too low for the place.

Woher kommt "Almkopf"? In den amtlichen Karten steht durchwegs Alpkopf, in älteren Ausgaben "Alpelekopf".
