Hey bud, I fixed a few small errors you made with respect to formatting the information you entered. Word to the wise: your business's address is wrong. 3909 Macleod Trail is on the WEST side of Macleod, not the east: there is no such address as 3909 Macleod Tr *SE*. I noticed the same mistake was made on your website; probably ought to fix that... Cheers

Do a garage and a shed *really* have separate addresses as "Unit 2, 20 Applegrove Pl SE" and "Unit 3, etc."?
FYI there is no gate here, just an opening.
Hi there, I reviewed your contribution, and I have deleted the two nodes you added. You already added your tree-care business three days ago. I move that node to the address you entered: 9944 5 St SE, a house at the corner of 5th St and 99th Ave SE. (See node/5763168914) If that's the wrong address it can certainly be corrected, but please don't just keep adding it over and over again. If you're using another piece of software to view the map it may take a few days for the change to show up.

Just because you "considered this road to be a roundabout" doesn't me it is. That the road was tagged with a name ought to have been your first clue that you shouldn't have tagged it as a junction and deleted the name. Don't worry about changing it back, I've already fixed the mistake. Please be more careful about verifying the veracity of your edits.
This road has a name; why did you delete it?
Thank you.
FYI, in making this edit you've broken all the "turn:lane" tagging at this interchange. The geometry was drawn the way is was before because there are solid white lane markings separating the two eastbound turn lanes from the single through lane on the right.

I would like to elaborate on this edit, lest anyone question why I've done what I've done. The signage on EB Parkdale Blvd west of Kensington Rd and signage on NB Crowchild south of the Memorial Dr interchange suggest that the stretch of roadway between Kensington and Crowchild is "Memorial Drive NW" not Parkdale Blvd. (as I had changed it to about six months ago from Bowness Rd, which was clearly incorrect [Bowness Rd is adjacent]). In particular the sign on EB Parkdale Blvd west of Kensington indicates that Kensington Road is to the left at the intersection, and straight ahead is Memorial Drive. On NB Crowchild the exit to WB traffic says "Memorial Drive WEST". Other online maps are inconsistent with how they name this particular stretch of roadway; not that I'd reference an edit from them, just noting that this road is something ALL maps seem to show as unclear.

Hi D3000x, I just wanted to let you know I have deleted the POI node you added here, and as you're a newer mapper I want to explain why. The Science Centre building, the polygonal object on the map, already had all of the address and contact info tagged. Duplicating information on the map just makes it larger, and hence more for someone else's device to load. I want to make clear that you didn't do anything *wrong*, but as a rule of thumb if a building has a single tenant and purpose there's no good reason to not just tag the address and contact information there, rather than add a POI node. The Spark science centre building itself has no other name, no other tenant, no suites or units or other tenant spaces to speak of. Whereas in buildings with multiple tenants—say an office building like The Bow—the building itself ought to be mapped separately (especially because it has its own name), and those tenants ought to be added as separate nodes. Just wanted to share this for your info. There're loooooooooooots of other things to map in Calgary, and as a local mapper I appreciate contributions from others. Thanks!

Hi Adam, appreciate the effort you've made to contribute to OSM, but I noticed you made several errors in your additions (including some pretty basic typos). I have since fixed them. I think it would be worth your while to review some of the documentation on the OSM Wiki (osm.wiki/); there is a wealth of information there about how things ought to be tagged, formatting, etc. Cheers

I really don't mean to sound accusatory, but is there *really* a piece of artwork at this location? In someone's front yard?
Hey sumyunguy, for your info you don't need to draw areas using separate line segments and creating a relation between them. It's much easier to draw them in as a way, using the 'area' button in the iD editor or typing '3' on your keyboard. I have already changed this instance to a way as described; going forward I hope you'll find this much easier. Also, when you add parking areas, it's very beneficial to add the access rules to the lot. Do you know if there are any restrictions here? Being that it's close to the school I thought it might be staff parking, but it's also close to the athletic fields; is it open to those users?
FYI your house isn't named Billinghurst (*you* are), you don't need to trace over a street that's already on the map, 'Calgary' and 'Alberta' are capitalized because they are proper nouns, and Canadian postal codes are capitalized too—A#A #A#. C'mon Chandler, you're a university student not an 8-year-old.
If you had ever set foot (no pun intended) on Stephen Avenue you'd know the changes you made here are completely incorrect. Changing it to residential is about as far off the mark as you could have possibly been. I have reverted your erroneous edits and changed the motor vehicle access to conditional; please don't edit this road any further, it is obvious you're not familiar with it whatsoever.
Hi CSharp, I noticed you added a playground zone to the map along Hamptons Drive NW by adding another way on top of the existing one. You don't need to do this. I fixed this by splitting the existing road way into separate sections. You can split ways into multiple parts by right-clicking a node and selecting 'split' (or typing 'x'). Cheers!

Sorry, screwed up the edit summary of this; I added racetracks at Wild Rose Motocross Park.

*learnING ...
I'm still learned too. I fixed this mistake for you. Cheers

Please be careful editing administrative boundaries. It appears that in your attempt to create the administrative boundary for Sheaves Cove you had inadvertently changed the name of all of Newfoundland and Labrador to Sheaves Cove!
