Actually this is a serious error and the results any map renderer delivers in this case (wood areas on top of or under of the grassland) is just arbitrary.

Please keep in mind the error effects _any_ map renderer, not only the Mapnik view of the standard Openstreetmap.

Fixing this is quite easy, but you may select JOSM as editor for this task, as it is much more capable for editing relations.
