yes but the two relations still remain unvalid (missing item roles) and are overlapping (partly duplicates) as well. Who cares about those errors?
As your students use JOSM they should get an error message as soon as they try to upload this type of error. Do you train them to watch out for JOSM validator notifications?
Do you teach your students about what a changeset comment ist and how to deal with it?
