Thank you for keeping me up to date here. However, I would like to point out that I find the tone you have chosen in this message rather disrespectful. Whether a newly added airport has any representation in reality or not cannot be judged without local knowledge. The term “blind” and the other comments strike me as superfluous polemics and nothing of added value.

The fact that changes to erroneously added data make reverting more time-consuming is a triviality that is part of everyday business when working with OSM data and is therefore a simple matter of craftsmanship.

I therefore recommend to choose in future cases messages with appreciative wording, such as the following:

Dear contributor, as I was trustworthy informed of an edit that added a non-existent airport, I also had to undo your correction as this additionally changed the incorrectly edited data.
