Adding any tree is perfectly fine as long as it exists, it's up to data consumers to filter out what they see as unnecessary. We don't expect a navigation app using OSM to use trees, but another type of map might. If you've just removed these because "unnecessary clutter" then this changeset should be reverted.

If you have a look at osm.wiki/Australian_Data_Sources, there’s a couple of YouTube channels we have permission to use, and you can see how another mapper has reached out to ask for permission, I’d encourage you to reach out to this channel and ask, gives us another source we can use without issues then!

Okay, just make sure you're not using Google Street View for mapping in OSM in future, we don't have permission to use it and edits made using it would likely have to be redacted by the DWG.

We can't use Google Street View as a source, if you've had someone verify it manually and you can tell it's where it is using an allowed source (Bing Streetside, Kartaview or Mapillary) then that's fine, but if not then that's a problem.
