Hey, I'm not sure what this tag is supposed to be, but i don't think it's right node/11099785430
Hi, On way/10140719/history you seem to have added "building=S". Could you please fix that? Thanks!
Hi, Looks like you used the ele tag when you meant to use the height tag, on things like node/11099410145 ele is height above sea level, height is for height off the ground
Okay, so the correct tag for that should be access=private, not access=no. access=no is saying nothing is allowed to use it
Hi, Are you sure you meant to make all of these roads access=no? These look like roads to public buildings, right?
Hi, Were you trying to create one relation that holds all the fence sections around the park?
Hi, Why did you change the relation to be a type=multipolygon instead of a type=boundary?
Hi, On way/701589451/history you changed "lanes" from 4 to 3. Did you mean to do this?
reverted in changeset/139442151
Hi, I'm going to revert this changeset under the "Purposeful removal or degradation of data that are known to be correct" listed here: osm.wiki/Vandalism#Vandalism_and_other_types_of_bad_editing First off, if you're unsure about how landuses work, it's best to ask in a community osm.wiki/Contact_channels#Realtime_chats first so others can teach you. That being said, "haphazard and incomplete" is not a valid reason to remove them, it means that someone just needs to fix them. If you feel it "adds a lot of noise to the map layers", then turn the landuse layer off in the editor so it doesn't bother you. Landuse should never be glued to highways and paths, because it's not related to them. It should only be glued to other landuses.
Hi, On way/1192776746, "steep" is not a valid value for the incline tag. Do you know if the way is going uphill or downhill?
| 139353063 | Hi, For way/1194034426
Were you trying to mark these as under construction? If so, you need to use highway=construction (highway=construction) |
Hi, Are you sure motor vehicles are allowed on way/1194039637?
Hi, On way/1194091912, what do you mean by "access=motorcycle"? Is a motorcycle the only allowed form of transportation?
Hi, Looks like you accidentally dragged a node to the wrong place: osm.org/edit?node=4035518048#map=19/44.77746/-85.58656 Could you please fix that? Thanks!
Sounds good, thanks for the explanation!
Hi, Seems like you have a typo on the voltage of way/89550655 Could you please fix that? Thanks!
You're welcome! Yeah, there's an overarching principle called "one feature, one element" (osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element) which means that for any object in the real world, there should only be one OSM element representing it. So Watson cannot be both a township and a village. Caledonia is different because there are actually two Caledonias, the charter township (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caledonia_Township,_Kent_County,_Michigan) and the village (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caledonia,_Michigan).
Hi, What "growth" are you talking about? AFAIK there's no population statistics since it's an unincorporated community
Hi, There's already a watson township relation, you've now created duplicate objects. could you please delete the one you just made and add any needed tags to the original one here? relation/10228714 Thanks!
