Almost certainly a keystroke/hotkey error, as I was toggling geographies

Perhaps I will go through the laborious task of reverting my changes. I have a question about this one in particular though: if it isn't a ford, what is it? Is the stream in error, or the alignment of the trail, or is there a bridge?

No, I could be in error, I just noticed many stream crossings that were flagged with OSM warnings about having no crossing of any kind defined, so I was just looking at aerial photography for e.g. a bridge. If I didn't see one, I presumed a ford. Is this in error?

alright, done that way. I checked for any mention of a spring (as an attraction or noteworthy feature) on the map or via web search, but there is none. Though it's not a common backpacking area, I figure it is best not to give false hope of water availability there.

If you check my history I've recently been going over some GPS traces and aerial photography with care.

Alright, I'll delete it. I flagged it as "intermittent," if you are sure that it sometimes pushes out of the earth (it looks like it's part of a stream or creek to me...) then maybe put it back.

Did you mean to add that spring? I walked by in a dry February, I couldn't identify any spring and it was dry.
