I suspect an additional hint would be to add main entrance nodes on the outlines so algorithms can select the right access route to the entrance of the building (a common issue in these cases).

Naming things is hard... Describing access to named things also hard.

With permission, it would definitely be interesting to survey the area to understand the history of these buildings and how they ended up with separate entrances, etc.

Amazon have put a lot of effort into accurately deciphering map data to determine the correct routing for their delivery teams. Cases like this are hard to both capture good data for (and decipher algorithmically).

Made some very minor changes (to make use of specific tags that are more appropriate).

Hi Steven! Thanks for map edits. Can you explain a little more about the issue with this building? If I understand correctly, what appears as one building on satellite is actually multiple units with different names. Is that accurate? If so, we can help update the map data to accurately reflect the reality on the ground (our guiding principle).

Please note that OSM data consumers update their datasets at a frequency of their choosing so any updates could take days, weeks, even months to be reflected in their systems.

Some notes:
- I have surveyed the northern half of Princes St. Photos of signage available on request.
- the layout of the street is pedestrian in nature BUT the signage seems to permit non-pedestrian access (i.e vehicular access) outside specific times.
- if vehicular access occurs on the northern half of the street, I suspect it is mostly to allow access to destinations on that segment (intent, not legally enforced/ signed). I can re-survey at night to get additional data.
- the southern half of the street is presented / maintained differently. I can survey that at a later date.
- Intent of the council vs what has been legally implemented / signed often differs. I would generally defer to the "map what is verifiable on the ground" in these situations.

Thanks for the update. Quick reminder to be careful with sourcing information. Copying from copyrighted sources (such as the Cork Co. Co. Road Schedule) causes issues for the project.
