Hi,

Scarsdale Plantation looks to be an area used for forestry. While some areas maybe 'scrub' now they will be trees in the future, and some areas will be harvested - so no trees. Rather than continuously updating the areas vegetation which is a patchwork it is easier to tag the landuse=forest, without any natural=scrub/wood/near_earth and be done with it.

Hi,

You have added ways to the administration boundary of Newcastle. Corrected. Please take care.

Hi,
Error in tagging.

On Bringelly Rd there are the tags; oneway=yes meaning it is one way in the forward direction of the OSM way.

and

maxspeed:backward=80 ...???

As oneway=yes forbids going backwards ... Danger Will Robertson, danger.

The changes broke the administration boundaries for 2 councils.
Please take care when changing things - refer to the OSM standard layer as that should show any linked features.

Repaired as best I could not knowing the area.

When you add an area inside another area that conflicts between the two, that conflict needs to be resolved. Here you have added a scrub area inside a tree area. It cannot be both trees and scrub.
The tree area can be made into a multipolygon relation and the scrub (and water) area added as an inner to that new relation.

Have you visited this area?

There looks to be considerable conflict between areas tagged as 'scree' and 'bear rock'. Then there is the question of 'heath' and 'tundra'.

Hi,
Please use the 'Q' key to square up your building entries - assuming they are 'square'.

I would also like to know why you have deleted buildings already entered and what source you used for the changes.

Hi,
The name tag is for the name only. Not to describe what has already been tagged. e.g. name Basketball Court should not be used unless you know that is the true name. See osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only

Not a question of 'may have', there are crossing buildings. Crossing buildings are identified by the JOSM validator before you download the data to OSM.
A better practice is to save the data to your local PC without downloading it to OSM. Then correct it later. Once corrected then download it to OSM.

Hi

Multiploygon relations outer ways cannot share segments with inner ways. See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=148.46921&lat=-36.38647&zoom=17

Partial reversion - broken boundary of National Park.

Hi

Buildings don't go inside other buildings .. at least not in OSM. What is needed is building:part! See building:part=*

Please change C39, C40, C41, C42 and any others I have missed.

Hi,

The relation for Porky Beach Conservation Area was broken by some of this changeset so it is in part reverted.

Hi William,
Welcome to OSM, don't worry too much about making errors on your first edit.

I have assumed the deletions were an error so the deleted buildings have been restored.

Also fixed new building with 2 extra nodes causing crossings.

Hi,

Lake Eppalock looks to occupy a much larger area than you have mapped. See the Esri World Imagery Clarity Beta.

Hi,

Welcome to OSM..

Water tanks used for fire fighting are somewhat larger than a few yards in diameter. The tank - way/865531540 - would at best be used for gardening... probably only = 100 litres. For fire fighting as a minimum 5,000 litres would be a better idea.

Hi,

The multipolygon relation/11811268 has outers that share ways. This is a no no for these kind of relations.

Secondly ... the 'shelter' is not what I'd call it in OSM terms.. "A small structure for protection against bad weather"???

The center is a building=train_station in OSM terms, while the outer 2 structures are roofs.
