question: on what do you base yourself to map separate bike lanes between the tunnel and Rue Linné?

ik zie dat u een aantal maanden geleden een toilet en een oplaadpunt voor elektrische fietsen heeft toegevoegd, waarvoor grote dank!
Het klopt dat het in het begin even zoeken is naar de juiste 'tag' om een object te beschrijven.
Als alternatief bestaan er alternatieve websites om dit op een gebruiksvriendelijke(re) manier op te lossen.
Bijv. 'Pin je punt' van Toerisme Vlaanderen via het platform Mapcomplete

Eerst en vooral bedankt om te reageren op de commentaar van dentonny.
Het spijt me dat u de commentaar als negatief beschouwt, dat is alleszins niet zijn bedoeling, en voor alle duidelijkheid ook niet van mij.
We zijn net zoals u vrijwilligers en willen een zo juist mogelijke kaart; ik neem aan dat dat ook voor u geldt.
Vooraleer inhoudelijk in te gaan op het probleem, stel ik net zoals dentonny vast dat u geen beschrijving heeft gedaan van uw wijzigingen. Nochtans is dit wel de bedoeling (zie hierover de informatie in de wiki, in het Nederlands: osm.wiki/NL:Good_changeset_comments)
Mag ik u daarom vriendelijk vragen om uw wijzigingen kort te beschrijven?
Dit kan bijvoorbeeld door op deze vragen te antwoorden:
wat is de bron van uw wijzigingen? was u zelf ter plaatse? zijn er effectief geen paden te zien? of zijn ze afgesloten met een poort? een hek? heeft u eventueel foto's genomen? (via mapcomplete.be (thema "Notes") kan u foto's toevoegen of via mapillary.com kan u open straatbeelden raadplegen).

On spot there are indeed no streetname signs.
And in the offical government dataset 'GRB' (available via geopunt.be) there's also no streetname visible.
I removed the name and added noname=yes.

When a building is ready you need to use year_of_construction

Deze tag "role=approach" ken ik niet. Ik zal hiervoor even navraag doen in de chatgroep van OSM BE.
Over de relatie "Aanlooproute Station Genk - National Park Trail' kan ik de volgende context meegeven:
die relatie heeft gebruiker "@RLKM_Nationaal%20Park%20Hoge%20Kempen" op mijn aanraden aangemaakt. Deze gebruiker is een werknemer van de de organisatie die het Nationaal Park beheert. Hij wist te vertellen dat 'National Park Trail' een route op zich is, en daarnaast is er de aanlooproute.
In ieder geval kom ik bij u terug als ik wijzer ben geworden over 'role=approach' ...

Is dit een "correcte" naam? Klinkt nogal vreemd ...

hello there, let me explain! :-)
1) I didn't remove the building/area as such, I added removed:building=yes which is probably not the most accurate thing to do, but I couldn't find something better for the moment (read also the note I wrote)
2) bxl-forever did some changes some weeks ago with the consequence that the park 'Jardin de René Pechère - René Pechèretuin' was not rendered anymore. I asked him to look at it, but he didn't have yet opportunity to do so. I am also currently working with ID (not yet JOSM) so modifying area's in different layers is not yet an option for me
3) for in case you wouldn't know the area: at the level of Boulevard Pacheco (layer=0) there's indeed a private parking but on top of it (layer=1) there's this park.
The esplanade and the new (temporary) container classrooms are on layer=2.
4) If you have a suggestion to tag/map this otherwise, please tell me ...
