For context there are about 5130 no left turn restrictions in AU. Only 27 of them need to use a way as the via. So it's more likely that a new left turn restriction with a via way is a mistake than really needing to use a way as the via.

It means what it says. These turn restrictions need to use a way as the via rather than a node. The note is to let mappers know this and to allow me to filter out the ones that I have not checked yet.

Hmm based on the fixme I added looks like I couldn't tell if this was operational yet or still planned. If it doesn't have an IUCN Cat, then you can use protect_class=7. I would add both tags just to be sure.

Good question. I don't know. I assume that historic: might mean abandoned: and station_site probably means station? Unless it means somewhere they were going to build a station but never did.

I have gone through the Vicmap data to check to make sure all of the former stations were tagged with a lifecycle prefix. I was unaware that station_site was a thing so I may have missed a bunch of these.

I've started looking for duplicates of this type and it turns out I'm not the only person who didn't know about this.

Hi,

The no-left turn restriction is required because there is a left turn slip lane. The no-right turn restriction is required because u-turns are not permitted at traffic lights.

I have put them back to what they were.

Hi,

This changeset allowed people coming up the off ramp at node/280889414 to cross over and go down the ramp. Another mapper tried to fix it but their turn restriction wasn't valid. I put cross back in to force the right turn but still let the left turn down the ramp go.

Can you please review.

Just to let you know turn restrictions can only have one "from". So I've fixed this by putting in a separate way.
