In this case it looks like there was already a duplicate. The node version was added 12 years ago and way/683851397 7 years ago.

Apologies for the confusion. It doesn't help new mappers if the data is already not quite right.

Thanks for your edit. When you are adding a POI to OSM it is helpful to check and see if it has already been mapped. If it has been then you should edit the existing POI.

If you want to remove a turn restriction using iD you need to remove all of the members of the relation. Otherwise, what it looks like is that you have been editing in the area and iD has broken the relation https://pewu.github.io/osm-history/#/relation/18330716

It might be easier to use level0 or JOSM to remove a turn restriction.

As far as I can tell it's the name of the housing development. If you know the boundaries you can put a residential landuse around it an add a name.

Please stop blindly copying in roads from the VIcMap dataset. way/1472098218 does not exist on ground. You can clearly see other tracks around here on the aerial imagery but none of them show this "road".

This is the second time that you have broken the mapping of Brisbane Waters. It would be helpful if you:

1. Provide changeset comments that explain what you are trying to achieve rather than "simple edits", which could be anything. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

2. Wait till you have some mapping experience before attempting advanced topics. The iD editor is not the best option for editing multipolygons.

3. natural=bay mapping needs to be in addition to the mapping of a water body, not replacing it. See natural=bay
