Which particular part do you have a problem with? I'm not sure what you mean by harder to maintain. The boundaries of properties do not change very often.

That's how admin boundaries have been tagged in Australia. It classifies what type place entity the boundary represents.

I think I was relying on the fact that G-NAF also said it was Milanda Road as the Council is supposed to tell them when they change names. I notice it was changed to Lanihuli Road in early 2019 and the latest G-NAF now has Milanda Road back as an alternative. Guess you should just go with the sign.

It's pretty good, but it does have errors in it.

The problem is that there is no definitive list of RFBs. The RFS website says that there are 2002 brigades in NSW but the LPI Base Map only has 1697 POI's and these include the ACT and things like training centres and regional control centres. The EMSINA list has less again; 1567. So there is at least 300 brigades that either don't have a physical presence or are missing from the base map.

In this case I was comfortable in assuming that if you'd been given a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of gear within the last year you'd still be an active brigade.

Vice versa, who knows how out of date the base map is? Just because it's on the map is it still operational?

Is this actually a fire station? It's a training facility, so I don't think there is a brigade based here.

Looks like the easement for the Snowy Mountains Highway has been changed since 2016. Other than that the boundary appears to still be the same.

Also Base Map is still GDA94, hasn't been updated to GDA2020 yet.

OK. I added fixmes to about 20 of the BBQs that were already mapped: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/NgG. I only removed a BBQ if it was obvious from the imagery that they'd been removed. I think the ones around the lake that are visible on the imagery but not on the list may be maintained by the NCA, although the ones in Surveyors Park appear to have ACT Government markings but aren't on the list.
