"National Road" is the most common name for the sections of Manila South Road/Maharlika Highway, so do not change that without discussing it.

I would strongly disagree with the roads in question being trunk. "Trunk" in the Canadian context is generally used for highways designated part of the National Highway System. Did you got them tagged as trunk based on the US definition rather than the Canadian one?

I would better think handling such conditions with tracktype=3 (mostly solid) rather than a demotion to track.

I would certainly disagree with this being trunk. The established convention is that trunk (in Canada) would be a non-freeway that is part of the National Highway System, and for the Winnipeg area, they would be Provincial Trunk Highways 1, 75, 100, and 101.

Again, please stop all of your unwillingness to talk about why these should be classified as tertiary. I'll revert this, along with you other latest edits. This is turning into an edit war, and you may be blocked for not trying to communicate with other mappers.

The previous classifications do have an effect on routing, so please stop reverting changes that should better help. Sorry that I might call you stubborn about this, but please don't touch road classifications without providing good reasons why the previous classification is right.
