Why were the roads deleted

I was just reverting the conversion of a parking lot to a park. If you have a source for any of these names you're welcome to correct it.

I've fixed the errors, but to disconnect features:
HOLDING shift, select the feature (in this case the building) and the node where it connects.
Then right click on the node and click disconnect.

I've reverted all related changes so everything is back to exact original state. If you come across such an issue in the future try get someone to revert as that is much easier.
