Strictly speaking, it is unknown if these establishments serve coffee. amenity=cafe does not mean this (although it usually does). On the other hand, restaurants usually also serve coffee if the customer requests it. I think it's best to leave it as is for now (amenity=restaurant, no drink:coffee=*). But you can add fixme="check for coffee".

when the conformity to the new tag is not in doubt.
