The question you need to ask is, on a case by case basis, "is this a mistagging". In the case of something like "highway=pirmary" you can be reasonably sure that it's just a misspelling. In the case of a rare type of memorial you can't be sure unless you check other sources (like the IWM's picture, which I've now linked to the object)
Whether there's a wiki page is irrelevant.
Also if a tag is used by data consumers it is only common courtesy to let them know.

Looking at e.g. https://osm.mapki.com/history/way/930968280 , what was the previous "prow:ref" ("326/4") likely to have been? It wasn't the same as "prow_ref" ("Radley FP 4")?
Was it perhaps some internal council GIS thing that doesn't belong in OSM?

Previously I used to separate out plaques from plates - you can see that at https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/map.html#18/-25.00904/135.17758 . Tag changes should be discussed in the forum, especially if there are data consumers who are going to be affected - something that you can see at https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/memorial=plate#projects .
On an individual basis it's certainly possible to argue that "plaque" is the better tag - this one is https://www.iwm.org.uk/memorials/item/memorial/44738 , and I'd have mapped that as a plaque to start with, but mass changes should be discussed - something that you seem to have trouble doing: @geozeisig/blocks .

@InsertUser - I'd suggest just tidying this up now, as this user hasn't been seen for a while.

Just in case you're not aware, this changeset was mentioned at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/how-to-get-an-importer-s-attention/110565/24 .

This was actually all York Community Woodland, and was a first survey of the tracks that are currently open. Much more to do (more paths, fences, trees, etc.)

Roosters have bought Daleside, and there were Daleside vans in Roosters' car park (southeast of node/11880910004 ) yesterday, so I'm not sure how much activity there is on this site now.

... although "Showground Ringway" IS used as a path name on some paths around here - needs further survey (which would be an excuse to sample the beer).

Interestingly https://www.facebook.com/100086442774117/posts/401927786031977 suggests "Italian Bridge" as an alt_name but also suggests "The New Tanuma Bridge" as the name...

Andy from OSM's Data Working Group here. I'm looking at the changes to https://osm.mapki.com/history/way/727060307 here and it seems a bit odd. You've removed the official name, added a name:ar and name:en that match the name set a couple of changesets ago, but left bridge:name, bridge:name:ar and bridge:name:en set to slightly different things.
If the official name of the bridge isn't what you removed, what is it?

You've deleted quite a lot of data here over quite a wide area such as node/10682524206/history . Normally when something is mapped incorrectly people would change it to something more correct. Does that, and the other things that you have deleted definitely not exist as anything?
