As I said I verified on the ground that number 1 is exactly there where I put it. Whether or not it is some official city database is beyond the point.

Furthermore it is considered bad behavior to silently delete other peoples work.

On what basis did you delete information that I have verified on the ground?

An other comment, in Stockholm we prefer to have only one instance of a given address, preferably at an entrance. So we don't addresses to POIs.

ah, sorry, I made a mistake, it wasn't my intention to remove the phone number. I've corrected that. For the address I used a relation to associate the restaurant with the address. So it isn't duplicated.

I do think so. But I can pass by tomorrow to dubblecheck. Sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish a place that just has closed for the day from one that has closed for good

Hi MerylStreet, I'm doing well, nice to be back in Nice. So my philosophy about addresses is that I strive for them to be unique and complete. I.e. all the addr* tags in one object preferably together with an entrance tag. And that a given housenumber only shows up once. And I use relations to associate an address to a POI, if I know the exact address for it. Then about these addr:street and addr:city tags on their own on a POI, to me those are a bit like the old is_in tags that where deprecated. But from now on I just prefix them with contact*, that I've also seen used here

I don't believe I've removed any address from the database, but I strive to have the addresses to be unique.

Jag har nu rättat hastigheten. Först av rent praktiska skäl, du skulle behöva en sportbil för att ens hinna komma upp i 50km/h före du måste tvärnita för att inte köra in i huset där gatan slutar. Och om en polis skulle observera detta skulle du nog ändå åka på böter vårdslöshet i trafik. Tror inte man skulle komma undan med att vädja till någon officiell databas.

Sedan så verkar det märkligt att just den gatan skulle växla upp till 50km/h när den ända gatan som leder fram till den har 30km/h.
