Stara Łaźnia has accommodation too (two floors I think, and about 10 rooms): can either add tourism=hotel/guest_house or accommodation=yes, with optional rooms=*.

Unfortunately both findmystreet and findmyaddress contain data copyright to GeoPlace.

Clause 3.2 of the End User licence states:

The End User shall:
a) ensure that the Streets Data is not copied, adapted, varied or modified except to and only to the extent to which any of those acts are expressly permitted by this Licence;
b) ensure that it does not use the Streets Data for any Competing Activity or Commercial Activity;

Clearly this activity violates both sections here (this is copying the data & I would have thought OSM would be regarded as a competing activity by any reasonable person).

I have therefore reverted this changeset (in changeset/134734299). It may be necessary to redact it as well.

Sorry about this, but we do need to adhere to such terms scrupulously. In practice one only has to wait for a few months for such data to be available in other sources.

It's best set to access=destination as access=private stops everything. Visitors can still walk & drive in & last time I was here there were Ocado vans everywhere!

UK users are likely to understand that this is marking a private (unadopted) road, but applications from elsewhere wont.

Came across this entirely by random. I think the thing to do is add the actual water monitoring station if location is known. This can then have the ref. I think I've mapped one air pollution monitoring location, and I know Andy (SomeoneElse) has been mapping flood monitoring gauges. I think this one is at Fell Foot.

The postcode probably should not be on the actual golf course as it applies to the administrative location in Machrihanish village itself (probably the Ugadale Hotel). The actual postcode from UPRN lookups seems to be PA28 6TJ (but this is not the postal address). All a bit of a mess.

I reiterate: please use relevant changeset comments. Don't use "taginfo" or "wiki" as a source. Always say which tag you are changing. In a few years time what taginfo or the wiki say might be quite different, so it's not helpful.

But you deleted the casino tag not the restaurant one. Given it has Casino in the name that was quite a clue.

When mapped I think leisure=casino was quite popular, but someone retagged a lot a few years ago.

We were wondering about inscription which is the usual tag on memorials, even if it's not quite an inscription. Adding the info as a description or note is perhaps a bit less useful (and in practice adds nothing and takes away a bit from the original tag, which does clearly show what it is about).

A simple query on the original changeset might have been a better way to tackle this.

Can you remember why you used maxcgwrating (or similar) on Mayfield Ave off Kenton parade in this changeset? Someone has 'regularised' the values & I suspect has lost something.

Ah, not sure I properly interpreted your original remarks. The original bridge_name tags (later, IMO incorrectly, synonymised to bridge:name) were definitely created to deal with the situation where the bridge has a name and the road has a name. People still often put the bridge name in the name tag on the highway, so I think retaining it on the way is important.

If this name tag is moved to the man_made=bridge, then really it should just be name. :-)

Once again using sensible changeset comment would help everyone. What is wrong with"Replacing addr:buildingnumber with more usual addr:housenumber"?

Can you also use accurate changeset comments. In this you changed a craft tag. Taginfo is not an appropriate source tag, although something like Osmose or Keep Right might be.

Given I have found several erroneous remote edits, I wanted to check other recent changesets of your which might also have impaired the accuracy of tagged objects.
