There is no tag for service roads. Just put them back to secondary as they were before.

All of these changes need to be re-evaluated or reverted. You were mistaken, as most of these roads are frontage roads with at-grade intersections and direct access to businesses. In those cases, they need to go back to secondary road. See: osm.wiki/Frontage_road
