This is not the question. Ways are simplified everywhere in OSM. I don't understand why it should different here.

Hi, could you explain the way id=272431649 and it's "barrier=ohm:military:wireObstacle" ? Even after reading the wiki about this tag, it's unclear if the barrier still exists on the ground or if it is just historical.
