Today I thought I'd do Vendelsö, which is basically "terra nullius", uncharted territory. The fact that it is the beverly hills of Haninge doesnt hurt either. That and the fact that since this weekend almost everbody is away made it a safe and enjoyable trip. Unfortunatly though, the memory card I plugged into my girlfriend's camera was way to small for 10Mpixels. I think I got maybe 10 pictures. It's probably good enough to get a feel for time-synced JOSM mapping....

10Mpx is waaaaaay too much for mapping. You could happily get away with a much lower resolution, which means not only more images per card, but longer battery life, and less time waiting for images to be written to memory (faster mapping).
