The problem like a lot of these paths is not if it does or does not exist the problem is if it is legal or trespassing. Has the user identified themselves as the property owner?

yes that must be a typo.

Thanks for the pointers at the Mapillary. I changed it as well as the signs that are there. I will need to go back and look at how to add the Begin CTC to OSM. CTC is Centerlized Traffic Control a dispatching system for the railroad.

Howdy, Sense we are having conversations in the comments section. The signals here node/7091921118#map=19/39.76207/-104.99537
If you look at the bing imagery you can see that the signal heads are pointed only in one direction rather than "both" I can see that this control point or railway=junction does have signals in both directions but have two locations of the signals. Do you have updated information for this? What are your thoughts on signals position either in line or along side of the railway line?

Howdy, It has been changed back.

Howdy, If these are gone mapping them as railway:razed is an acceptable use of the railway tag. I would encourage you in the future to not delete railway items that have been removed and to tag to them with railway:razed Keeping complete data will reduce questions in the future.

I did use the Maxar imagery as well as the bing imagery. Mostly I am using the bing imagery to get the switches right on the switch stands and to correctly identify the locations of derails.

I am well aware of what railroads are and how they are appropriately tagged within OSM. I am also aware of how complicated the OSM tagging system is for railways and how the documentation on the wiki could be better. Have you seen openrailwaymap.org? I encourage you to see what the railroad mapping community has done for the united states.

Also the 3D mapping you have done is impressive. Though f4viewer is incorrectly rendering the railway class rather than the tagged item. For instance it is rendering railroads for railway:construction and railway:abandoned.

because I am in editing in ID and moved to quickly onto something else. Spur has been added now.

Dear Hydrogen Cat,
I do apologize for your discomfort in this matter. The right of way is found on government maps including the USGS. You will need to strike it from a few more maps than OSM.

It is fixed now.

82137134

Thanks for catching that.

Could you be more specific. This area is CTC

Thank You for your contributions.
If you would like to connect we have a large OSM mapping community here in the Seattle area and you can find out about our activities on Meetup.

If you have stream/water that floods the passageway intermittently how would you tag it? I know multiple places where this is true.

Likely the homeowners association for that neighborhood.

Glassman the Blue Meany has been on the island for awhile and I've spent time in bucks.

I just changed the Gaga ball to a pitch as well as the basketball court. Mebrooks01 if you have any input you can put it in line here. I can check with camp staff if Mebrooks01 does not respond.

Carnildo, could you please link to that standard?

I understand that I'm bucking the trend. If you would like to remove, I can't keep you from doing so. I'm populating the above data. If you question that there was one at all please see the topo layer in that area.
