Hello.
When adding phone numbers in OSM, they should always include country dialing code. In US it's +1.๐Ÿ‘

Hello.
In this edit you also mapped multiple buildings as single features. They should be split up.

Hello.
You tagged this building as a fire station and then disused?
Could you please elaborate what are you trying to map here?

Hello.
Instead of deleting the existing data and creating new one, it's better to update the exiting node to the current stat. That way you preserve the history of that object if there's ever a need to refer to it in the future.

Hello.
Please note, you mapped many separate buildings as combined polygons. That is most definitely incorrect. These buildings need to be split up and mapped independently.

Hello.
Perhaps you should've discussed these changes with the local nyc community prior to edits so that there's a consensus on how to tag such features..

Hello.
In this changeset you tagged this sidewalk as asphalt. Is that accurate? 99% of sidewalks in NYC are cement...

After you make a changes in EveryDoor, there's upload button in the lower left corner. It doesn't automatically upload your changes.๐Ÿ‘

Hello.
Could you please elaborate why did you delete amenity=place_of_worship tag here?

Hello.
This feature is already tagged as disused:shop=e-cigarette, there's no need to add shop=vacant.

166091095

Hello.
Please do not put feature's description as its name.
Additionally, amenity=fixme is an invalid tag.
Finally, this area is already mapped as a construction site. There's no need to add duplicate data.

166090355

Hello.
There's no need to update tiger:*= tags. They are leftover from the original data import and not used for anything else. They can even be deleted.

166090178

Hello.
Please note that name_1= is an invalid tag and should never be used. we have osm.wiki/Tag:name=, osm.wiki/Tag:alt_name=, osm.wiki/Tag:official_name=, and many other documented on osm.wiki/Names.
But any tag that's in the format of _1= or osm.wiki/Tag:_2=, etc are incorrect.
Please update your changes.

Could you please elaborate why did you add empty nodes to 3 sidewalks here?

Hello.
It looks like you split a crosswalk into 2 separate ones with a refuge island in between. But then you still included crossing:island=yes on both crosswalks. That doesn't seem correct...

I think you were correct regarding that crosswalk. When I looked at that spot in Esri I didn't see it, but when I zoomed out a bit it showed up. I think that's what tripped me up. But it's also close to where I live so I'll confirm it later today.

And you are correct regarding cycleway:crossing:markings tag as well. Some of these OSM tags feel like shoehorned solutions. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

Are we talking about the same road segment here?๐Ÿคจ
It's way/208824127, diagonal, 1-way segment of Sheepshead Bay Road, connecting Ave Z and E14th. There's 1 lane of parked cars on the right, and 1 lane of moving traffic. I don't see how you can fit 3 cars there.
Here's also a photo of what I see from the satellite imagery https://imgur.com/a/IaR6uFW

Logical sense is what makes that situation different.
Mapping landuse= over areas which already have higher detailed features mapped is duplicated and wasted efforts. All the necessary information can be derived from these higher detailed features.
Blindly mapping something without fully understand why that is being mapped is not a good approach to mapping. You need to understand what and why you map something.

166046420

It's really unnecessary to map these landuse areas when all the buildings inside are already mapped. landuse information can be inferred from the building types.

Hello.
Please do not tag curbs just for the hell of it without performing actual in-person survey. It's virtually impossible to tell from the satellite imagery whether a curb is lower or not.
However, on a bunch of curbs here you tagged them as tactile_paving=no when you can clearly see red plastic bumper plates.
